Friendly and helpful staff are key. They always make up for flaws or emergency issues on the physical property. In this case Terrence was very professional and accommodating to me when there was a burst pipe. He made sure that my room was ready for me on time.

What kind of hotel doesn’t have an ice maker?? I know there’s empty ice trays in the freezer but I don’t want to wait 3 hours for water to freeze. I was also shocked that there were no black out curtains. No curtains at all actually! Just basic slat blinds— I’ve NEVER seen that in a hotel. Also the front desk person was not friendly at all. They said about 3 words to me and had a frown on their face the whole time. There was also large cardboard box trash in front of the elevator. It’s fine for one night but that’s it
