Firstly I would like to say that the family are very friendly and lovely people however I must point out how poor our stay was .
This hotel is over 5km from the Main Road where the restaurants and shops are located . The hotel is on a dirt road and not suitable if you donât have your own transport . Tuk tuks charged 950 rupees and none of the drivers knew where it was and we had to direct them. Our room had no mini fridge which is absolutely essential when the nearest place to buy water is 5 km away. The bathroom had a foul smell of sewage and although we complained and the owners worked on it the smell returned the next day . There is no daily housekeeping and on the third day the owner said if we wanted fresh towels to leave the keys as they had no keys to the room !!. On check out I was paying with a credit card to be told that the WiFi was too poor and wouldnât work . I honestly feel the owner just didnât want to take the card . He asked me to go to an atm and get him cash or pay in dollars . I offered euro and he refused saying he would lose on the conversion . I actually added 5 % to the total to allow for the conversion and he still refused . In the end I had to go to the next town and change our cash into rupees and give it to the driver to bring back to the hotel . This hotel is NOT 3 stars . No bed side lockers, no lamps, no chairs to sit on in the room . It was either the bed or floor. 1 overhead light as other 3 broken. All this for âŹ90 a night!
