Good, Bad and the Ugly
Firstly the Good, the Property was as per the listing, clean and tidy, I think we were the first to rent this new villa.
The Bad, the location is great for beaches and restaurants in the two nearby towns. But when at the villa we felt a little exposed as the back of the villa is very open with only a few trees, no wall or hedges just a chain link fence…..
The Ugly, the property is situated in a residential area with some local residents, Unfortunately a couple of the houses in the street are also rented out but to large groups of people who were partying on into the morning (7 am ish) some mornings, we rang the emergency number as is in the welcome pack to be asked to call the police. This really overshadowed the lovely neighbourhood and wasn’t what we went on holiday for, Some the the other residents packed up and went back to Nicosia earlier than planned as they are fed up with these two properties spoiling there quite street, they were mostly retired people who were very stressed by the casual approach being taken by the management company towards this issue.
We paid for us a lot of money and had looked forward to this holiday after particularly tough year for us personally, so were very disappointed at the end of our holiday
