Mixed feelings

We booked our room for the huge balcony. It turned out to be huge but was covered in snow and ice. That was disappointing. Electrics in the building were also poor, you had to choose the plugs you wanted to use. The building itself is all it promises and makes your stay interesting and that was why we tried it. Still balcony especially was disappointing. This may seemmlike a bargain but I am not 100% sure on that. The building is exceptional, there us no denying that.

Phantastisches Hotel in einem unnachahmbaren Ort mit Wasserfall (Ionen!), Radon (Zellerneuerung), Ski, Snowboard, Langlauf, Eislaufen, Rodeln, zahlreiche Restaurants in jeder Preisklasse und Qualität, ein echtes "Monte Carlo" der Alpen ...

Upea rakennus ja tilavat huoneet

Valtava hotelli ja huone oli melko suuri. Lähimmälle hiihtohissille melko raskas kapuaminen, mutta lähimmälle skibussipysäkille lyhyt matka.

Hieman nahistunut vanhan ajan glamour hotelli

Hotelli on hieman nuhjistunut vanhan ajan loistoa edustava paikka kasinoineen. Huoneet siistejä. Hyvä aamupala kuului hintaan.

Laskettelureisulla kahden kaverin kanssa. Aluksi paikasta tuli mieleen elokuva Hohto.

Rigtig god service. Højt til loftet. Fantastisk udsigt. Lidt trist med området med mange tomme bygninger.

New Year at Bad Gastein

Very friendly service, but the reception is located at the restaurant/bar far away from entrance at -1 floor. Only a few parking spaces available. Great views. Going skiing? - take a taxi to the ski-lifts, saves you a lot of logistics with car and parking, but have the taxi number by you ( you can get it from the reception ). Restaurant is not open at day time - but because of the people there, I could have my afternoon coffee there. Probably won't work all the time - lots of cafeterias near-by. Hotel manager, cleaning personnel, restaurant personnel really make the best for you. Just ask.
