Located just 1 km from Bad Harzburg, the area offers numerous nearby attractions such as a climbing park, fairytale forest, outdoor swimming pool, and a cable car to the castle on the mountain. Guests can also rent mountain bikes or take Nordic walking lessons to fully enjoy the outdoors.

Situated within a nature reserve, the house is accessed via a partly unpaved road, making it somewhat difficult to find—so prior contact with the owner is recommended. Parking is limited to 3 cars, and electric or hybrid car charging is available with additional costs based on consumption.
