Our stay was wonderful. The room was always clean and warm. The breakfast was wonderful. We enjoyed it very much. The staff were very kind and ver nice. Definitely a once in a lifetime stay.
It was great. We arrived a bit confused, as there was a surprise Kraftklub concert at the venue. I expected a calm and quiet vacation with my mom after going to the local spa, but this was better! Security and staff let the very few guest at the hotel "attend" the concert from our window views. The town is definitely mostly car-friendly, and many things are closed for the winter, but the concert was awesome!
The room was amazing & the view even better! Driving up to the illuminated castle was magical, when we arrived it was dark & we didnt see a single person. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. I loved the integration of modern convenience & styling while keeping the historical feel of the castle. No problems at all with the self check in, the key box was easy to find & the fob was easy to use. Breakfast was super tasty and plentiful with made to order eggs. Delicious cocoa was brought out for our boys while we enjoyed cappuccino, espresso and fresh orange juice. My only regret is not booking 2 nights so we could explore the area a little more and take the tour.
We arrived late evening, however a staff member was still on site, she was very pleasant and extremely helpful, made us feel âat homeâ. The castle has been kept very authentic and would be exactly what someone would want to experience in a castle built in 1283, absolutely amazing place. Would recommend anyone to stay. However a couple things we noticed, after dark there are little to no light sources past the main entrance, the grounds where very dark and interior stairways, making navigation of the stairs up to the guest rooms a bit freaky and difficult. Another recommendation would be to have portable fans available for use inside the guest rooms.
Alles Bestens. FĂŒr uns fehlte lediglich ein Kleiderschrank um Kleidung aufzuhĂ€ngen ( In dem Baronzimmer gab es lediglich eine Garderobe und Schrank mit FĂ€chern und Schubladen)
