Despite Hilton Baku’s impressive facilities, my recent stay was disappointing. As a Diamond guest, I expected attentive service and a prepared room. Unfortunately, no one assisted me with my luggage until I was already at the check‑in desk, and the room lacked the customary welcome note and food basket.
The property itself is beautifully designed and well‑furnished, but service standards fell far short of a five‑star hotel. The breakfast buffet staff struggled to manage a simple egg order, and overall training appeared to be inadequate. Moreover, no manager or senior staff member ever introduced themselves or checked on guests, suggesting a severe lack of hospitality and public relations awareness. Hilton Baku may offer extensive amenities and well-appointed rooms. Still, without well-trained staff and a genuine respect for loyal members, those amenities fail to deliver a truly luxurious experience.
