The Garden cottage is amazing!! Very relaxing and cozy. The property owners and office manager are very gracious and hospitable. They personally reached out to me to make sure my friends and I had proper instructions and to see how we liked our stay. It was very thoughtful and considerate. Would definetly recommend this cottage!

Beautiful setting

Absolutely bliss time was had at the garden cottage, just what we both needed, quite time away. Wonderful walks, great food at local farmshop and lovely hosts.

The lovely garden Cottage

The lovely garden cottage was in the country. Easy to find. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Our host had put a vase of sweet peas on the table. Lovely touch and explained about the cottage and about different things to do in the area. We would definitely recommend The Garden Cottage as a place to stay.

Historic and peaceful

I stayed in Garden Cottage, which is next to the main house. It was very peaceful with a beautiful garden, where I enjoyed sitting in the sunshine. There's a feeling of history to the estate and I enjoyed reading about some of the previous occupants, such as the painter Joseph Farquharson. The cottage itself is tastefully decorated with period furniture but with the benefit of TV and wifi. I could have happily stayed several more days and explored the area. Thanks also to Ann, who kept me updated with last-minute changes to road closures and saved me a detour.

Winderschönes Gartenhaus mit Naturteich zum Baden

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Gartencottage mit großer Küche und Naturteich. In der Nähe eigenes Cafe mit tollen Blick auf die Hügel und selbst gebackenen Scones und sehr gutem Frühstück. Alles sehr lecker. Guter Ausgangspunkt zu einem Besuch von Balmoral
