Overall had a good stay at this place. Owner was very nice and answered all my questions patiently. Only thing I didnt find convenient was trying to locate the guesthouse. I suggest for the owner to maybe have a big sign hanging outside with english words instead of it written in thai as there will be international customers coming in. Other than that, the room was fairly good.

This is a minimum no nonsense budget hotel in a busy area, which is quite hard to navigate.ok to stay one nite for convenience. But most annoying is the fan above the bed, which create a draft while you sleep, right above your head

나의 바안 마이 게스트 하우스(First Baan mai of Korean)

처음 구글맵에서 검색한 위치가 정확하지 않아서 힘들었다. 20분 이상 밖에서 걸어다녔다. 다행히 다시 검색하니 정확한 위치가 나와서 숙소를 잘 찾을 수 있었다. 구글맵 어플이 이상했던 것 같다. 체크인 해주신 젊은 남자분은 매우 친절했다. 매일 방을 찾아와서 마실 물을 주시고, 휴지통을 비워주신 여자분도 친절했다. 화장실을 보니 방충망이 없어 벌레가 들어올 것 같아, 걱정되었지만 문을 열어두고 잔 날도 벌레는 한 마리도 없었다. 방충망이 없어도 되는 이유였다. 식사를 위한 탁자가 조금 작아서 아쉬웠다. 그래도 불편하지는 않았다. 콘센트는 충분했다. TV 뒤에 2개, 냉장고 위에 2개, 침대 옆 2개. 멀티탭이 없었지만 모자라지 않았다. 약간 아쉬운점은 낮~저녁까지는 수돗물이 따뜻하다. 시원한 물이나 미지근한 물로 씻고싶었는데 따뜻하다. 그래서 씻자마자 에어컨 앞으로 가서 몸을 식혔다. 나는 몸에 열이 많다. 그래서 물이 추가로 필요해서 근처 편의점에서 물을 사와서 마셨다. 냉장고는 작아보였지만, 물을 보관하기에는 충분했다. 무조건 큰게 좋은건 아니었다. 작은 것도 좋았다. 침대는 약간 단단한 소재였지만, 불편하지 않았다. 에어컨도 잘 작동해서 좋았다. 마지막으로 주변 시설은 편의점 외에는 영어가 통하지 않아 조금 아쉬웠다. 시장에서 태국 음식을 먹어보고 싶었는데, 내가 태국어를 몰라서 포기했다. 편의점을 제외하고는 간단한 영어조차 사용할 수 없었다. 혼자 갔던 시장이라 더욱 어려웠는지도 모르겠다. 그래도 바안 마이 게스트 하우스의 문제점은 아니다. 그냥 내가 태국어를 모르는 탓이다. 아무튼, 바안 마이 게스트하우스는 좋았다. 처음에는 3박4일을 결제했고, 마지막에 하루를 추가했는데 추가로 체크인 하지 않아도 바안 마이 분들이 알고있어서 좋았다. BTS 방나역에서 3분 이내에 숙소를 들어갈 수 있는 아주 좋은 위치였다. 혹시나 BITEC에 다시 갈 일이 있다면 바안 마이 게스트 하우스를 다시 이용할 생각이다. 안녕히계세요!

only reception till 10 pm

was really dissapointing . booked at 11.30 pm . arrived there . everything was closed . had to call their contact . they told me the reception is only open till 10pm , but i still could book online after 11.30pm . after the call at midnight i received a message that the reception is closed ,after i already paid . spent unnecessary taxi money . had to find a hotel around 1am again .
