We stayed at Baan Pra Nond during our time in Bangkok and it was the perfect locally owned and operated B&B! Upon arriving, we were greeted with Thai tea and hot towels, and every staff person we met was so kind and helpful! The breakfasts and French press coffee were delicious, and the cozy, beautifully decorated rooms are stocked with plenty of water--as well as daily incense. We could not have enjoyed our time more at Baan Pra Nond and are so grateful for the hospitality of the family and staff.

Very noisy but centrally located

On the positive side, the staff are super friendly and the breakfast is good. But the area is very loud and noisy, mostly because of traffic. The room is quite dark and the WiFi is sporadic. Mosquitos were a big problem, providing a coil or repellent for guests would be nice.

lovely stay

First time for us in a b&b!! wow, a lovely house in a very local area. Great for a couple of days, close to bangrak, the river and bts, very busy with traffic outside but managable.The room was nice and cosy and the pool was brilliant, big thanks to Janya for advice and info, highly recommended

Boutique hotel close to train station

I loved staying here! It’s just a few blocks from the Surasak sky train station that’s just a few stops from the center town. The hotel is managed by the granddaughter of the original owner- and you can see pictures of him and his family in the main entry way. The only issue with this place is that it’s so close to the highway that you do have to sleep with ear plugs. But other than that- it’s super charming and welcoming.

Gorgeous place but wouldn’t stay again

The house itself and garden is beautiful, pool is fine but the traffic is just too much. This would stop us from staying again. There were a couple of lights out in the room so it was quite dark and the shower leaked badly in the bathroom. The bed was too hard, maybe slightly softer mattress needed but the bed linen was lovely. The house is gorgeous and very well kept, snack options fine but breakfast there should be 2 choices and not just presented with one thing. Just if possible that would be better.

Heritage/Colonial Charm, Very Comfortable

This hotel is an absolute gem. It's tucked away from one of the busiest intersections in Sathorn which makes it very close to a lot of popular spots along the river and it's steps away from Surasak BTS which is pretty much your connection to the rest of the city. The staff is extremely friendly so it made my stay very comfortable, they have a dog named Logan...who is a big flirt btw, totally going to miss him. The room I stayed in was filled with old Thailand charm, it has that heritage/colonial feel to it so I kinda fell in love with it right away....I took a million photos here which I'll share on IG soon. I have nothing bad to say about this place - it's absolutely charming. Defnitely coming back!.

Lovely stay in Bangkok

The place was very quaint and done up very beautifully. The host was very nice and warm and we were very well taken care of. Breakfast were excellent, and room very clean and comfortable. The B&B is situated along a main road, but it was quiet in the room and nestled outside the busy area of Bangkok. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel and staff

Our stay was perfect, the service is remarkable and the room and hotel very nice. The young man at the reception is very nice and smiley, and made us feel like at home. The owners were also very friendly and helpful to organize our trip in Bangkok. The location was also very convenient, as we had only 5 min to 10 min walking to go to a more busy area to have dinner. We really recommend this hotel and will definitely go over there again.

Stellar B&B with minor flaw

Look past the nearby freeway and you will find a gem. Historic home was built by the proprietress' grandfather. It's preserved with regards towards its history and decorated with antiques. Very charming. Varied and creative breakfast dishes will power your explorations of Bangkok. Recommended!

Pleasant leafy escape

Very welcoming staff, with refreshing iced tea and cold face cloth offered on arrival. Although situated on a very busy street, it is a pleasant oasis amidst the frantic pace of Bangkok. It is close to BTS, so Bangkok is very accessible from B & B.

Awesome staff!

We stayed in Bangkok 3 nights. We really loved our stay at Baan Pra. The neighborhood is really great. It's 5 min walk from the sky train station, which makes it easy to go everywhere. There are a few good places to eat around but you can also take a Tuk Tuk for 200 baht and go to china town and get all kinds of food there. The only downfall was that the hotel is right next to the highway so it can get a bit noisy at times. The staff at the hotel are very helpful, respectful and patient. Loved their hospitality.

Everything is nice, staff are friendly, (including the house dog). Room is very clean and comfortable. Close to BTS station. Only improvement I'd suggest is to replace softer mattress.

Too noisy!

I paid up front for four nights but left after one and paid more for a quieter hotel. If you plan to arrive home late and sleep in late, this is not for you. This two storey family run hotel has its charm, including very pleasant family owners and charming pet dog but it is right beside a very busy main road that you cannot sleep through - despite bedside earplugs being provided as part of the service!

Just a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff!

The hotel is great. Wonderful breakfast, really great staff, very nice rooms! Only issue is very few people know where the place is which can get expensive with taxis getting lost but if you have a phone on you and keep a map handy, you will be more than find ...just to note, it is a bit far out but it is quiet and lovely so worth it when getting off a long flight. That is very much my only criticism!
