Completely bait and switch. The pictures on the website didnât match the condition of the hotel rooms. There were roaches in the room, the walls were dirty and the rooms were like they had never been painted since the hotel was built.
Considering the price and distance from the airport, this is an acceptable stay. The rooms are run down with damaged furnature repaired with scotch tape. The bed is very hard. My room included a 1/3rd roll of toilet paper. Other than that, it was clean, the AC works, there are drinks in the fridge and the staff is friendly. If you need a cheap place for a short stay near the airport, this should do. There's laundry and a 7-11 across the street, a coffee shop, a Big C, and ATMs.
It's a nice, very affordable hotel that has seen better days, but for a backpacker, it's perfect. My neighbor complained about cockroaches, but my room was spotless. The gym needs some investment, but it has a punching bag and pool table that nobody uses. In this area, there is nothing to visit within walking distance except the marketplace in front of the hotel and maybe a massage salon. The street looked like I was in a small provincial town. Yet I am not a "spoiled" traveler, and the unbeatable price of 18 CAD for the night covers all inconveniences. I needed to spend the last night in Bangcok before taking a flight in the morning, and this small hotel was perfect for this. Besides, the staff spoke good English.
I like this place it was close to a 7-11 and only 15mins away from the airport. The staff was more than kind as I didnât know a lick of Thai and it was just really nice. A good place if youâre just looking to rest your head for the night and get the move in for the rest of the day.
