Just had a fantastic 2 night stay here, really good location for exploring this area of Bangkok. Near Rambutti and Kho San roads, 5-10 mins walking distance and 20 minutes to the royal palace. Pier for river boats is right outside to get further away. The hotel is beautiful, we had an amazing room 504, very comfortable, clean and quiet. The reception staff were lovely - very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended place to stay

Beautiful location right along the Chao Phraya river. It’s not a flash hotel but has a clean minimalist feel to it. Beautiful artwork for sale everywhere. The reason people would stay here is the bustling activity of boats on the river, especially at night when the dinner cruises have started. I like this area of bkk with its rich history and culture within walking distance. It’s pricey but worth every baht!

Lacking of few things...

No cable TV, no channels, you have to streaming your phone. Nice bar on the roof, but we're lacking of many items: local beer on the menu, but out of stock. The had only imported beer at more then 300 bath each.

Don’t overpay.

It was nice being by the river but the hotel is set back and the buildings on either side were not, plus the ferry terminal is in front so the views are obstructed. There is one spot at the pool for taking photos and it’s usually taken. The pool closes at 6:00, too early! I loved the balcony, we were Fifth floor riverside and so had shade in the morning and full sun in the afternoon so choose accordingly. The room was great, comfortable bed and nice linens. Breakfast was very good. The Thai food in the restaurant was excellent. The neighborhood and access to the ferries is awesome. There is a place for cars to drop off passengers and luggage but it is always blocked so you get dropped in the street. There is a wheelchair ramp but it is poorly located so we schlepped our luggage up several stairs. There’s a guy but he arrives when you’re up the stairs. There’s no gym. There is art by a handful of artists— none female, go figure.

Vi kom ner strax innan frukosten stĂ€ngde vilket var 10.30. DĂ„ verkade en del pĂ„ buffĂ©n tagit slut (frukten bl a och Ă€ven det bröd man kunde rosta sjĂ€lv och personalen verkade överlag vara ganska ny pĂ„ jobbet. De kunde inte riktigt förklara vad som ingick i priset - 450 bath per person, ganska dyrt tyckte vi. och visade upp nĂ„gon slags lista pĂ„ vad Man kunde bestĂ€lla frĂ„n en lista men det framgick inte om detta gĂ€llde bara oss eller Ă€ven andra gĂ€ster. Det hela framstod som ovant och vi blev stressade av att de snart skulle stĂ€nga. Att ha frukosten öppen till 11.00 passar bĂ€ttre nĂ€r det gĂ€ller gĂ€ster som gĂ€rna vilar ut efter fullproppade dagar i Bankok. Alla var vĂ€nliga och gjorde nog sitt bĂ€sta men pĂ„ detta hotell som vill vara bĂ„de hippt och elegant rĂ€ckte det inte hela vĂ€gen. Annars var det vĂ€ldigt fint med snygg poolavdelning dĂ€r man Ă€ven kunde fĂ„ drinkar och goda snacks. En i sĂ€llskapet hade hoppats pĂ„ en vĂ€lkomstdrink med alkohol - vi fick varsin vaucher som skulle gĂ€lla i baren. Han blev grymt besviken eftersom ”drinken” visade sig vara nĂ„got saftliknande som han inte var ett dugg sugen pĂ„. Lite snĂ„lt tyckte vi. Annars övervĂ€ger de positiva sidorna; bra lĂ€ge vid floden, snygg design pĂ„ rum och utrymmen, miljömedvetet och vi vill gĂ€rna komma tillbaka. Personalen gjorde ett ambitiöst och mycket vĂ€nligt intryck sob
