2 comfortable bedrooms each with a smart tv (apps only no cable) WiFi . Toiletries....

2 quality leather sofas & 1 chair in living room. Dining area is conveniently located behind-living room space. Children are welcome we have added a few games and children’s books and pack & play is available on request.
Once you visit you will be planning your return trip. We are located near Banner Elk with its many family run stores also near grandfather mountain - home of the mile high bridge and Bear exhibit. Come on up and see what it’s like to stay where the clouds fall low over the mountains

The winter season brings a touch of magic to the mountain. Enjoy sitting around the Gas log fire and enjoying your hot cocoa or glass of wine. If you have used the ski area we have a small boot dryer in guest suite so you can dry out quickly. Sit back and relax and enjoy all the mountain has to offer and make everlasting memories.

Security camera covers guest driveway & ring doorbell at guest entrance motion is turned off once we see all is ok…ie …no pets not over max occupancy and not all minors.. but you can still use it to contact us immediately if needed.

We really enjoyed our stay with Steven. We planned this trip up to Beech Mountain to snowboard at the resort, and it was a less than 10 minute drive there from Steven’s place. You’d never know anyone lives upstairs, the downstairs was very cozy and private. You have your own keypad entry and driveway. Steven supplied hand warmers, coffee pods, dishes, some waters, and more. There were a couple times I messaged Steven with a question and he answered very quickly with helpful information. 10/10 would love to come back for our next trip!

Quaint and cozy

We have a great time at this Gem. The king size bed was the most comfortable bed ever! (I would love to know the brand and firmness, i forgot to look) I will say i was there for App State orientation and i didn’t realize the time difference in the mileage i believe it was only 23 miles but took an hour to travel. That was my own fault. The owners were so helpful and checked on my Mom while we were out. I appreciate you all

Cozy mountain retreat

Wonderful couples getaway. We loved this cozy, relaxing, and super clean place. The location was perfect for skiing and sight seeing. We especially loved looking out of our bedroom at the deer playing in the snow. We appreciated the owners supplying "extra goodies" and checking on us throughout the stay. Will book in the future and look forward to the beautiful scenery again!

Awesome place to stay!

My friends and I loved our stay! The owners were very on top of making sure we had everything we needed. We are big snowboarding people and it was so convenient being only 9 minutes from Beech Mountain resort. The area of the home is so nice and scenic. We had a lovely time talking and getting to know some of the neighbors around us.

Perfect location!

Fabulous place to stay! It was very clean, and the hosts went added lots of personal touches like snacks and coffee/tea! I enjoyed swinging on the swing in the amazingly cool temperatures! The home is situated in a beautiful, safe neighborhood where deer roam! We are planning a trip in winter so my kids can ski! You won’t be disappointed!
