Winter Travel Note:
Beech Mountain is magical in the winter—especially when the slopes are covered in snow. While the Town does an excellent job maintaining roads, conditions can be unpredictable. A 4WD/AWD vehicle is required during winter months, and the driveway, though paved, is steep. We encourage guests to plan accordingly, as weather-related refunds cannot be provided. Snow is part of the adventure—just come prepared!

It was the perfect place for us and it even had a Kitchen Aid so I could bake. Thank you so much. It was close to everything we enjoyed doing without going all the way down the mountain.

The home was well-furnished, including toys and board games for the kids. Our host, Ryan, responded quickly to our questions. We would definitely recommend this rental for large families!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean and cozy and had everything we need. They also provided all the starter items that you could need. We had a great ski vacation and would definitely stay here again.

Family Gathering Home

The home and location was amazing. Everyone in our group loved the property. There were 12 people in our party, but we all had our own space. The three levels were perfect for spreading out, but the common area was large enough for us all to enjoy. I definitely recommend this property

The best!

We loved our stay at Carmen’s Beech Mountain home! Everything was extremely clean & spacious. We cooked each night & the kitchen was stocked with all the supplies & utensils we needed. Loved the pool table! House is just a few minutes away from the ski lift & close to yummy restaurants. Would definitely come back!

Family Ski Trip 2020

This property was perfect for our Family Ski Trip. Carmen was a pleasure to work with and the welcome package left in the home for us to have upon our arrival was a nice surprise. Being so close to everything was what we were looking for and this property gave us just that. I rate this property and it’s owner with a “10”!

Pictures do not do justice!

The house was beautiful and lots of room for entertaining. We loved the downstairs area with the pool table, that’s where we spent most of our time. The alpine coaster was a lot of fun, there was tubing very near by but unfortunately our schedule did not allow us to get to it. Overall a great experience!

Amazing home .. Amazing owner

we were a group of three families with a total of 10 people. from the first moment we entered the home, till we left, we felt like we were living in our home!! the home was very clean and well disinfected during this pandemic. kitchen is fully equipped from A to Z, though we asked Ms. Carmen for an electric kettle and she was so cooperative that she ordered it immediately for the next day delivery. Rooms are in good size and comfortable. Fantastic location in the mid of Beech Mountain (2.5 miles to the Ski Resort) within easy reach to all amenities for everything you need from shopping, restaurants, bars and lot of things to do. Highly recommended for quiet and relaxing vacations and definitely will come back.

If you are looking for a great place to stay with family or friends at Beech Mountain, this is It!!! From beginning to end it was a wonderful experience!!! Carmen, the owner, was so accommodating, always available and truly thought of every detail! From snacks to enjoy, to out towels placed on each bed, everything you need for baking, 3 coffee makers, the best TV’s, the most comfortable couches... this cabin is the complete package! We were 9 people and we really felt comfortable. The bottom floor has two amazing, comfy, recliner couches and chair. It has a large smart tv and a pool table. The middle floor also has a tv and couch with a great table to play games and eat. Any floor you’re at, you can’t hear what’s happening in the other, so it’s perfect when everyone wants to do something different. The beds are comfortable, they have extra cozy blankets. Carmen has games and a great visitor book with all the activities and restaurants around. Blowing Rock is a quick ride away and the Beech Mountain Ski Resort is just 6 minutes away! The surroundings of the cabin are beautiful as well. It truly was a memorable stay! We will definitely be back!!

Excellent Cabin on Beech

Wonderful property exactly as listed. Plenty of space for our group of 5 adults and 1 child. Beautiful setting amongst the trees and very private lot. Nice grassy area for taking the dogs out. Would definitely rent this one again!

Beech Mountain Getaway

House is well stocked - from kitchen to bathroom. Showers even had built in soap/shampoo/conditioner so didn’t need to bring. Nice that all linens provided as well. The downstairs room was a hit with my teens - pool table and tv area provided a separate area to hang out away from living area/kitchen on main floor. The three floors of bedrooms were also nice to spread out. House much nicer than photos - very clean and well maintained. Good location on Beech Mountain - close to restaurants and hiking.

Our Family Trip 2021

Beautiful home wish I could of stayed longer, as soon as we walked in we felt like home my kids enjoyed it and so did everyone that went to the house, home was cleaned and spacious for everyone I thought it was 2 stoy home but it was 3 I liked that very much ..I would recommend this home to everyone that wants to get away to the mountains. Family reunion

Our family has visited Banner Elk for 15+ years. Summer in the Mountains is always great and there are plenty of activities. We wanted a larger house than normal and Carmen’s house fit the bill. The pool table and tv room downstairs was a great place to hangout. And the 2 bedrooms and bath upstairs were great to relax. There is a kitchen and large living room and deck on the main floor. And several of us walked a 1 1/2 path near the driveway. We had a great time and didn’t need to leave the house to have a great time. We also needed to change the dates of our stay and Carmen handled the whole process. We hope to come back and stay again in another couple of years.

Immaculate. Carmen‘s property was exceptionally clean. This is so appreciated. She was readily available to answer any and all questions. Our primary visit was to attend the Highland games in Grandfather Mountain. Her location was convenient to this event and other attractions. In addition, our four-legged friends were right at home. Oh I have to complement her on having not only a regular coffee pot but a Keurig too! Thank you!!!
