Sugar Ski Premium Loft - Unit 11-403

This is a completely remodeled loft unit with an open floor plan and ample lighting throughout. The kitchen has entirely modern, updated appliances such as a glass stove-top oven and an Advantium 240v speed-cook microwave and the dedicated dining area seats four guests. The totally renovated master bath comes with a radiant heat ceramic tile floor for the cold winter months as well as a massaging shower head in the shower/tub, perfect after a long day of skiing. The living room sports a large flat screen television with cable and wireless internet. Unique built-in's frame the living space while the whole unit is wired with ten speakers for a whole-house stereo experience. The furnished balcony in this highest elevation SSCC building, overlooks Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Banner Elk with long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The new clubhouse offers an indoor pool, fitness room, sauna and a hot tub for guests unwind after a day of skiing. The property also has tennis courts and outdoor grilling areas. *No wood burning fires*

First the good. Incredible location at the top of Sugar ski Mountain. Management on site was terrific. Great property with a lift that comes right to the condos. Overall the condo was niceIt needs some improvement. The sofa bed was not made up and is not at all comfortable. There were only 4 low quality towels in the room. The condo has a lovely layout, very well designed and nice decorator touches. We especially liked all the maps on the walls. The kitchen area was my favorite in particular the stove! It had everything we needed for cooking. You can see they spared no expense in equipping this condo. I loved the skylight and the view from the patio. The highlight were the 4th of July fireworks that exploded right in front of us! Best views ever! Only drawback was not being able to work the audio system to listen to music and the TV was not very smart or easy to work.

Reviewer Comments: clean, updated space. heated bathroom floor was nice. there was a brief leak from the skylight of which a piece has been ordered to repair. the "oven" is tricky--we did not use it but, get ready to read if you wish to. quite a hike to the "ski in/out, and clubhouse" but we had no problem just driving down with equipment. Pool/spa/sauna were awesome! would stay here again. it is appropriately priced.

The condo was in good condition and the kitchen and bath updates were nice. The TV system is extremely hard to work even for my tech savvy fam. It is a long haul up and down the hill in ski boots and carrying gear to the actual slopes, way more than we expected. But it is nice to not have to drive and park at the resort lodge. It was super cold while we were there and our pipe froze then burst so we had no water in our bathroom all day on Saturday which was quite frustrating...i guess it’s part of having old buildings and pipes. I will say that maintenance was prompt in coming to check on it.

She was super nice and moved us to a new condo. It was nice with a good view. It was the perfect location. My only complaint is the water wasn’t that hot. After one person showered all the some what hot water was gone.
