Top Floor 2B Condo w/ Pool Access!

This top floor condo has breathtaking views of Grandfather Mountain. It has a great open space living/dining area with a flat screen TV, an electric fireplace featuring a wonderful wooden mantel. The unit is 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom and will accommodate 4 people. The master has a King bed and an en suite bath. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and adjoining bath. The balcony is equipped with quality outdoor furniture. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer in unit. You will have full access to the indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and weight room located in the lobby. Sugar Top has a shuttle system. Please be advised that the parking shuttle is run by Sugar Top. Resort Real Estate and Rentals has no control over the shuttle system. Our Sugar Top Condos are Non-smoking. Absolutely NO PETS. No Check-in's Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All guests required to sign rental agreement upon booking.

Amazing location. Parking isn’t the most convenient but the shuttles to the resort from parking are very helpful and the drivers are awesome. The bus to the slopes takes a little longer but is worth the stay alone as it keeps you from having to park for skiing. You’re also close enough to walk to Oma’s Meadow and ski down if you don’t want to wait for the bus to ride down. 10/10 recommend this resort and condo.

In the clouds

Very clean apto very well equipped, everything in the kitchen if you like to cook. Beautiful view, sunrise to die for....the only thing I did not like was the bed, I like hard, firm, stone mattress but the master bed is very soft...but that is just my preference...other thing was the parking, it was mostly half empty and we still had to park down and take the shuttle...we walked down most of the time. Great place, I recommend will comeback in the summer. Thank you.

Ski weekend at Sugartop

The condo was clean, comfortable and in very good condition. The beds were very comfortable and we woke up to a beautiful sunrise over Grandfather Mountain. We would rent it again.

The view was fabulous but the check in and shuttle service was a little bit of a hassle. Also, the hot water heater was bothersome. The building needs painting and units need updating. Otherwise, had a great experience.

Great stay on top of the world!

Our stay was great. Everything was as described. The shuttle service seemed a little cumbersome at first but they do such a great job at it that it wasn't a hassle at all. The hot tub and pool really made the stay so much better.

Amazing View!

We had a wonderful time staying at Sugar Top. The view of the mountains was breathtaking. The room was nice and clean but you could tell this was an older property. We had to check in off site and then when we got to Sugar Top, they let us go through the guard gate to park in front of the property for a few minutes to unload our stuff, then we had to park down a ways away from the condo. A shuttle would bring you back up from the parking lot to the condo which was not convenient at all. Especially if you forgot something in your car at night. The shuttle does run 24/7 though. The pool was nice but you cannot have any drinks (including water) or snacks on the pool deck which I thought was kind of silly. We did have a really fun time at Sugar Mountain but not sure we will stay at Sugar Top again.

Place was great but they will hold your security deposit for up to 30 days per there email they sent me when I asked about when it would be refunded. I am going on 21 days with no REFUND even after they told me 5 to 7 days. This almost feels a little SCAMMY to me. I can understand the security deposit and I would charge one myself but to hold money up to 30 days after you left "And yes I have a VIDEO showing all was good on my way out the door" is just makes me feel they are hoping people will forget about it. If I don't have my money soon I will be opening a claim on my card. ("Once everything checks out our inspector sends it through to accounting. Accounting has up to 30 days to refund the deposit, however, with this being our slow season it should only take 5 to 7 business days for it to appear back onto your account. ")

Sugar top

Mantle at a severe angle, probably will fall off soon and they will try to blame a renter. Is there any insulation? The floors and walls, window sills are very cold. Tub faucet about to fall off, bathroom popcorn ceiling cracking and pealing. Built in the 80s and looks it. You have to unload and then park down the hill and get a shuttle back up. It was clean, but we wouldn’t go go back.

Wonderful condo!

This condo was beautiful, better than expected! Clean, great amenities, great location, highly recommended. With that said, the rental company was extremely difficult to deal with. Poor communication and not accommodating at all. We weren't allowed to check into our room until well after 5pm due to 'legalese', even though we were told the room was vacant and had already been cleaned. We would love to stay at this condo again in the future, but will be AVOIDING any future rentals if it's through 'Resort Real Estate and Rentals' (RRR) at Sugar Mountain. .

Felt like home!

Perfect space for a family getaway. Comfortable condo with amazing views. Great family ambiance. Felt like I was at my mom’s house. The beds were comfortable (king was better than I expected based on other reviews). They were super busy and it had just snowed- so check in was a bit delayed; but homeowner had no control over that. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Condo, Amazing Views

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The views were incredible, even better than they appear in the photos. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a comfortable stay. Communication with the property manager was excellent. The only downside was with check-in and logistics. We had to go to an offsite location to get our keys, then check in with security at the property entrance, and then check in again at the front desk in the lobby. After that, we had to unload the car, drive to a remote parking lot, and wait for a shuttle back up to the condo building. It was a pretty extensive process and a lot of human interaction, which was not ideal amid COVID concerns. We had to wait on the shuttle every time we wanted to go somewhere. We never had to wait more than a few minutes, but I feel like we spent more time than necessary on logistics.
