Nestled in the woods in the heart of Mount Desert Island, Acadia Woods Cottages offer fully equipped two-bedroom homes that are the perfect launching place to explore Acadia National Park and the surrounding area.

Cranberry Cottage features two cozy bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, heating and air conditioning, a washer and dryer, a smart TV with high-speed internet, a grill, a screened porch, a community fire ring, outdoor games, a picnic pavilion, and more!

Acadia Woods Cottages are just 7 minutes from the main entrance to Acadia National Park and a short drive to nearly everything else on the island. Or, leave your car and hop on the free Island Explorer bus. The bus stop is right across the street and can take you almost anywhere you want to go.

Cottage Rules

These Cottage Rules ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for all our guests. We appreciate your cooperation.

Check-in/Check-out: 4:00 PM and 10:00 AM. This allows for a smooth and enjoyable arrival and departure experience.

Parking: Please park only in the designated space assigned to your cottage.

Smoking/Vaping: Strictly prohibited inside the cottage and in all common areas.

Quiet Hours: 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Parties/Events: Prohibited.

Pets: Not allowed in the cottages or on the premises.

Open Flames: Prohibited within the cottage (e.g., candles).

Bathroom: Please use the dark towels provided for makeup removal. Do not flush anything except toilet paper. Hygiene products, wet wipes, dental floss, and diapers should be placed in the garbage.

Garbage Removal: Please use the designated bins and follow recycling guidelines.

Wildlife: Do not feed wildlife (deer, squirrels, foxes, wild turkeys, seagulls).

Rental Agreement: At least 7 days prior to arrival, guests must sign a rental agreement that outlines these rules and the associated security deposit.

Security Deposit: A $500 security deposit hold will be placed on your card one day prior to arrival. Assuming the cottage rules are followed, the security deposit is released one day after check-out.

Note: Violation of these rules will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit and may result in immediate eviction without a refund.

Cute little cottage nestled in the woods . Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia Park. The caretaker was great friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The cottage was spotless ! I would recommend 100 % .

Clean, excellent condition accommodations

Great option for a family vacation. Clean, newly renovated- just like the photos. The property has a communal fire pit for s’more’s, ping pong, corn hole. We did not use the bus service, but drove to Bar Harbor, Acadia, etc. Great for hiking, biking, kayaking. Beautiful part of Maine. Would definitely stay here again.

Acadia Fun

The cabin was exactly as described. Spotless and perfect for our family of 4. We especially enjoyed all of the extras the owner provided. From hand soap, laundry detergent, games, and plenty towels. The outdoor areas were perfect and we used them every night! Planning our next trip here now!
