Villa il Borraccio - Cottage Dependance il Borraccio. Whether you are looking for a relaxing vacation or want to discover Tuscany. The apartment is located a short distance between two of Tuscany's most important historic cities, Florence and Siena, and from the pool you can see the valleys and hills of Chianti all the way to the towers of San Gimignano. The entire property is surrounded by Mediterranean plants and green lawns. Villa il Borraccio consists of three comfortable apartments in the main building, one of which is inhabited by the owners. Each apartment has an independent entrance and private garden .
Dependance Il Borraccio, its area is 45 m2, is located 20 meters from the villa, entirely on the ground floor overlooking the garden and the Chianti countryside. It consists of a kitchen - living room with sofa , a double bedroom and bathroom with shower. The apartment is equipped with Satellite TV, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, stove, microwave oven and with all the necessary accessories for cooking. At your disposal is a private outdoor space ( patio ) well equipped for outdoor dining. Reserved car parking, WiFi connection in the apartment.
Please note, heating/air conditioning is not included and will be available at an additional cost if used.

Relaxed

Hele fijne locatie en lieve eigenaren. De communicatie is wel moeizaam als je geen Italiaans spreekt. Verder een mooi huisje en zwembad met ligbedden. Alleen het matras vonden wij persoonlijk te hard.

Geweldige ervaring

2 weken verbleven in appartement. Zeer lieve mensen die alleen Italiaans spreken, maar dit ging perfect met google translate. Erg mooie locatie. De weg is wel druk maar we konden achter het huisje zitten waardoor dit geen probleem was. Op loopafstand van Tavarnelle en Barberino. De laatste heeft een leuk historisch dorpje met leuke restaurants. Ook is er een mooi zwembad aanwezig wat goed schoongehouden wordt. We hebben een bijzonder leuke vakantie gehad bij leuke mensen.

You need a car to stay here

I've stayed at almost a dozen different places over the past couple of months. This was the most difficult to navigate. To be fair, the property is beautiful. It is just like the pictures. It is spacious and lovely. But communication with the host/owner was close to impossible. The VRBO site says she speaks English and Italian. But really she doesn't speak English. When I was able to get her in person, which was only twice, she used Google translate, but it was such a mess. I was supposed to stay there for five days, but quickly on the first day I realized I was not gonna be able to stay there because I did not have a car. I had told her in advance that I would arrive at the train station and take a taxi to the property and meet her there. She did not tell me there are no taxis in that area. I had to walk to find a bar, and thank God the bar/restaurant owner offered to drive me to the property after he closed for the day. So this is really a complicated review. If you have a car, you will most likely love this place. But if you don't, it's impossible to get around.

Wonderful base to explore Tuscany

We loved the area, outside space, pool and the host of this property. A slightly better equipped kitchen would have made property perfect, especially as we stayed in August and were not allowed to have a bbq due to fire risk. Overall we had a lovely holiday and would recommend the villa to others.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Gastleute sind außerordentlich freundlich. Die Ausstattung des FerienhĂ€uschens ist zweckmĂ€ĂŸig. Großes Plus: Das GrundstĂŒck liegt traumhaft schön, mir wunderbarem Pool und wirklich spektakulĂ€rem Blick auf die typische toskanische Landschaft. Einzig kleiner Wermutstropfen: Unser HĂ€uschen lag direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Strasse und es war recht laut.

Center of it all

Wonderful guesthouse on a beautiful property with vineyard and olive tree views complete with a ringing clock tower in the distance. Hospitable hosts - wonderful, lovely, helpful. Good wifi and a nice pool. Quiet property comfortably situated in the middle of wine country, close to two grocery stores. Recommend!

Picturesque vistas of Chianti area

What a lovely host and excellent location at Villa il Borraccio! Wish we could stay longer than our three days. There was a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere at the Villa. Well equipped! Remember to ask about turning on hot water because we had cold showers. Will recommend to others to stay here!
