The location of the hotel was perfect for what we wanted in Barcelona. The hotel itself is an older building but very well maintained. Our room was very comfortable and clean, with everything that we needed for our stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, even allowing us to check in early after a very long night of travelling.

The room was clean and very comfortable. There was wide choice of breakfasts at super chap prices. The ambience of this old building was lovely. The staff were super helpful, pleasant and professional at the front desk and at the bar. The a/c was good. One minor point - for heavens sake ditch the little plastic bottles of soap and shampoo - most other hotels did this a decade ago. Little waste plastic bottles every day from every room are NOT GOOD.

Yes the room was very clean and well kept. Outlet for charger was not conveniently located in the room. Had to use the one in the bathroom. Staff was very courteous and helpful. It is a beautiful hotel. Would stay here again.

Le personnel est extrêmement attentif et donne toutes les explications importantes dès l'arrivée. La chambre est très bien, et c'est très bien insonorisé. La localisation de l'hôtel est parfaite. Plein de petits cafés à proximité pour les petits-déjeuners. La décoration pleine de boiseries, de miroirs des lieux communs est charmante. Petit bémol, la douche.... pas de pression d'eau dans la chambre oû nous étions. On a pu acheter plusieurs billets pour diverses activités directement à l'hôtel, ce qui est très accommodant.

Front desk staff were not very friendly. Tried to ask for help with my luggage because the main street was closed off and I had 3 bags and they were rude about helping me. Also at the front desk the women were overall rude and didn't care to engage. Got locked out of my room before 2 hours before check out and the housekeeping woman was sweet enough to open my door - the front desk had no reason to why my room was locked. The surrounding area was easily accessible to the main attractions and shopping. No water kettle, fridge, or microwave in the room, which was annoying.
