The neighborhood is safe and family-friendly with plenty to do on your doorstep. The apartment is located next to Paseo de Gracia and Rambla de Catalunya, the city centre of Barcelona.



The Space:

Welcome to this 170 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to Paseo de Gracia and the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya. Barcelona’s historic Eixample is an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city.



We are also managers of another property in the same building, ideal for large groups or business stays.



⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The Neighborhood:

The apartment is conveniently located 5 minutes away Paseo de Gracia avenue and in the very middle of Eixample district. This elegant, majestic boulevard was a showcase for Barcelona's bourgeoisie at the turn of the 19th century, and links the Plaça Catalunya with the district of Gràcia, hence its name. The presence of Barcelona's finest modernista buildings makes this avenue a veritable open-air museum.



Barcelona's new artery, in the centre of the newly built Eixample district, was the place moneyed bourgeois families chose to live. On either side of the street, they constructed imposing buildings that continue to delight everyone who passes by. These jewels of Catalonia's home-grown art nouveau, modernisme, and the later movement, noucentisme, were created by architects of the calibre of Gaudí (La Pedrera and the Casa Batlló), Puig i Cadafalch (casa Amatller), and Domènech i Muntaner (Casa Lleó Morera), to name just three. On the pavement we can see the organic paving stones designed by Gaudí, and along the boulevard are the streetlamps by Pere Falqués, with their white-mosaic benches. The architectural jewels stand side by side with some of Barcelona's most prestigious shops.

- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.



- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation

and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.

6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

We are SO glad we chose this property. It was PERFECT for our family of 8. Fully stocked kitchen, a handy grocery store next door. Newly renovated, while in a quaint older building. Kids loved the "cage" elevator. Enough bathrooms for a comfortable stay.VERY centrally located for the ability to walk to lots of sights - or - get to bus and subways transports. A HUGE plus was the communication with the wonderful host!. He was SO quickly responsive to every question and need. Very accommodating!! A super pleasant stay with memories for time together with our 3 generations.

Great location and spacious apartment

Our family of 8, ages 19-77 enjoyed their stay in this convenient and spacious apartment. The apartment is not fancy, but has plenty of seating options. It would have been nice to have more essentials such as extra toilet paper, paper towels, coffee etc. All things considered, we enjoyed our time there.

Wonderful, Large Apt with Many Bathrooms

Beautiful stay in a great, walkable location in central Barcelona. Apartment had plenty of room, three full baths and a half bath, and a great outdoor deck. Quiet hours after 10pm were enforced so wouldn’t recommend for a rowdy group.

Wonderful in Barcelona

This is a beautiful property in the heart of Barcelona Life. The home was spotless when we checked in and all ACs worked, all Baths were stocked, the kitchen was clean neat and tidy. The Electronic Check In process was painless and far less trouble than most E-convienences in life today. The close proximity of public transport made our trips to the Harbour for the America's Cup races quick and easy. The variety of resturans and shops was wide and enjoyable and walkable. Great Property, Great City, Great Vacation!

Very good location

The apartment is very well located and had plenty of space for our family of 7. The air condition worked well. We needed some kitchenware but our host has promised to look into that. If you are sensitive to noise, two of the bedrooms are located to the street and there is some noise during the night.

Good location

We stayed at this location with our multigenerational family of 9. The 3 bed bedroom was great for the kids. There was an issue with the power going out and then the mini splits not working correctly which my husband was able to fix. The staff was quick to reply to any of my messages. The location is very convenient and there is a store right next door which was very handy. There is no parking on the street so we had to find parking garages each night but we suspected that prior to our arrival. The keyless entry was easy to use. The outdoor space was a nice surprise. Overall, we were pleased with this apartment.

Great location

This apartment is in an excellent location. We were able to walk to just about everywhere we wanted to go. We were two families traveling together for a total of 9 people and the apartment was spacious enough for all of us. The apartment also has air conditioning which was very nice to have considering the July heat and humidity. It is also equipped with a washing machine and coffee maker. Since check-in was not until 5p and we arrived at 1p, the host was very accommodating and we were able to drop our bags off early and then explore the neighborhood. Check in was done with a virtual key which was really nice since we had a such a large group. Everyone had access to the main door and apartment door. There is also a 24 hour shop next door for groceries or anything else you might need during your stay. The host was very timely with communication and provided local recommendations. We had a great stay in Barcelona!

Good location/ok for larger groups

Pros: great location, property was very clean, plenty of sleeping space for larger groups, great comms with property manager. Cons: very basic, you won’t find extra towels, coffee, etc. Air units only on the two front facing rooms. We had to keep windows open in other rooms, which was fine because it was cool outside, but then we had to deal with the noise. Neighbors are EXTREMELY sensitive to noises, and this building has very thin walls so you will also hear them. Even if you’re just sitting around in the living room chatting or listening to music they can hear and will complain after 10pm. You will only be able to use balcony during the day, because of noise issues. Overall property was fine and we enjoyed our stay, but if you are looking for a property where you can sit outside or inside in the evening and enjoy some wine and conversation then this is probably not the best option for you.
