Die Wohnung ist nicht mehr im besten Zustand, so funktionierten zum Beispiel der GeschirrspĂŒler und die Rollos nicht mehr. Auch ist sie sehr rudimentĂ€r ausgestattet, nur ein Handtuch pro Person, kein KĂŒchenhandtuch, keine GewĂŒrze etc. Wer mir groĂem GepĂ€ck und nicht unbedingt Handy affin anreist, hat beim Einchecken Probleme. Die Agentur ist ĂŒber 2 km von der Wohnung entfernt, wo man die Keycards abholen muss, wenn man nicht den SchlĂŒssel per Handy nutzen will/kann.
Aber die Wohnung ist groĂ, luftig, wenn auch dunkel und die Dachterrasse ist ein Traum und allemal die anderen SchwĂ€chen wert.
The office location to check in is a long way from the rented property making an already long travel day that much longer. Upon arrival we immediately advised property manager that the oven did not work, bedroom closet sliding doors were jammed and hanging precariously and could easily have fallen, freezer was one big block of ice and unusable and the light at top of very dark stairs to access rooftop was inoperable.
Management advised they would have someone come in the next day to rectify. No one showed up nor did we hear back from them during our 5 night visit.
This was perfect for our needs for a long weekend in Barcelona. A little tight for 6 people but we were never in the place too long to feel too cramped. Excellent location that felt very authentic while still being accessible to touristy things. Would recommend

Our family of four adults enjoyed our stay in Barcelona for a few nights at this apartment, which directly faces a picturesque older apartment building with beautifully maintained balcony plants by local residents.
We found the check-in process a little annoying, having to go pick up the key cards at the management office and then worry about losing the cards (100⏠replacement fee) or forgetting to take out the garbage. Otherwise, it was a straightforward VRBO stay. We did not get a chance to use or even see the pool.
Biggest complaint would be they lacked several amenities: Only 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 adults, no laundry detergent, no dish towel / paper towels.
Do NOT book with theses people. FRAUD alert. Tried to Switch the booking on us day of to a dump.
Horrible experience. We booked this penthouse on Ramon y Cajal 69 street for 6 days to have peace, and arranged with them an airport pickup. We arrived and the driver took us to Homer 35 instead. I called the company and said we booked Ramon y Cajal. I was then told that the apartment we booked was âdestroyed by students beyond repairâ the night before, and it was in no shape to be stayed in. They said Homer 35 is a âbigger apartment, with private terrace not far awayâ. Upon the driver (which we paid 80 euros for the airport pickup) dropping us off at this unknown new location, we were met by Jorge, a representative for the owner Amir. Outside, Jorge says its a bigger apartment, private terrace, etc etcâ-really trying to sell it. When walking in, we find a horrendous smell of bleachâto the point of making you sick, a maintenance person hurriedly trying to fix a tv in an otherwise completely barren living room (except for the old couch full of stains on itâwhich looked like it had been taken off the street on garbage day. The so-called private terrace was in fact, not private. The walls were barren concrete and one room had two cots in in, no window, concrete walls (which had filthy stains on them) and looked very much like a movie would depict a cell at Rikers Island or AlcatrazâŠ..this may actually have been worse. The place was eerily dark, smelled, the freezer was broken and moldy, there was water damage, stains on all walls, and busted decking. Even Jorge himself wouldnât sit down in this filth. When called out on the condition, he was empathetic and said he just is an employee and agreed that it is no way comparable to what we booked, and was approx 25 min away from where we had booked. Traveling as a family, I told Jorge that this is not what was booked, not even close, it was filthy and no way would be stay here. I asked for a refund of the 30% that was paid at booking. Jorge said it was not up to him. The owner Amir, refused to provide a refund, and said it was non-refundable!! I said it was unacceptable and demanded a refund for all the above reasons. He then said, â I can give it to you tomorrowâ. He then switched to âyou can go there nowâ. But I thought it was beyond repair?? He has refused to refund the payment. We never stayed and had to get a hotel for our stay.. Now I see he tries to stay we stayed 1 day. Not true. Luckily, I joined my wife and daughterâthey were to arrive a day before me. They would not have been safe!! Robbed?
We loved this neighbourhood, full of tiny bakeries, delis, etc. Metro station was very convenient too. The building was very secure and the street was quiet. We were a bit annoyed that the apartment that we reserved had bright pink accessories on a sunny terrace. Ours did not have sun or accessories. It was a different apartment totally.
Poorly maintained, dirty apartment on a noisy street; had to remind them about returning deposit!
Overall, this was the worst apartment I stayed in during my 3 week trip in Europe.
GETTING KEYS: Was not made clear that keys were at an office ~ 20 minutes away from actual apartment. Plan on cab ride from office to apartment.
CLEANLINESS: Apartment was filthy. Including no hand soap in bathroom or kitchen. Grime and dirt in bathroom including poorly cleaned mirror as well as dead bugs and dirt in corners of mirror.
MAINTENANCE: Huge crack in bathroom mirror. Stairway banister broken. During a long rainstorm, major water leak in kitchen coming in through cabinets (called maintenance to report; they never showed up). Front door to building the security lock didn't work. (they claimed maintenance was supposed to come that day to fix; never showed)
NOISE: On a residential street but constant dog barking, loud neighbors talking all hours during night, early morning.
DEPOSIT: Had to chase down and ask for deposit. Took about 3 weeks to get this back.
