This hotel had great service. The room was clean, comfy, and quiet. The only problem was that it was stinky do to dry drain pipe, not sure if they can fix that problem but the smell was very unpleasant. Otherwise the facilities were great, the terrace pool was nice for the location and the breakfast was really good with good selection. The location is great, there were many great restaurants and attractions in walking distance and metro was very close too.

This is a lovely hotel that is very well situated to the city centre. The rooms are clean and well equipped, and the breakfast that is included is very good. The pool is not a 'swimming' pool as it is a bit shallow, but the rooftop terrace and pool area is a nice place to hang out on a rest day or in the evenings. The restaurant, Seventeen is very good but they were quite understaffed (or it was particularly busy the day we went) which slowed things down quite a lot. I'd recommend this hotel and would stay here again. The staff are all lovely and very helpful.

It is a very pleasant stay in Balmes hotel. The location is excellent, convenient to reach every spots as the metro and bus station are a few minutes away by walk. Hotel staff are very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Really nice place. The room was nice, the pool was great, and we walked to most of the tourist attractions or to the hop on hop off bus. The breakfast was excellent, and the supper we had at the restaurant was really good.

I booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child (1 queen bed and a double sofa bed). When checking in, I informed the receptionist that we had an additional 9-year-old child and was willing to pay any extra charge. However, the hotel refused to accommodate us and forced us to book an additional room, which was very frustrating and inconvenient. The extra room they gave us was on the third floor next to the elevator, and the sound insulation was terrible. We could hear everything from the hallway, and it made it very difficult to rest. Overall, the service was unhelpful, and the room quality was poor. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be staying here again.
