Masia Can Calet is a family house located in the centre of the town of LES FRANQUESES DEL VALLÈS (35 kms from Barcelona city center).
At home, you will find peacefulness, comfort and proximity to your work or leisure points of interest in a friendly atmosphere . It is our will to make you feel at home.
We offer an apartment on the ground floor of an ancient farmhouse built in 1840. The apartment has its independent access with a private outdoor PATIO. The property has a total of 2,000 sqm including private parking, organic garden and outdoor garden.
Its excellent location allows fast and easy access to the major points of interest: GRANOLLERS and LES FRANQUESES Industrial Parks, BARCELONA CITY CENTER (30 minutes train), speed circuit of CATALUNYA (8 kms), LA ROCA VILLAGE OUTLET SHOPPING (8 kms), Mataró BEACH (20 kms) or various GOLF courses (10 minutes). There are 2 train stations close to the house (10 minutes walking). The distance to Barcelona center is 30 minutes. One of the lines has direct connection to the airport.

Excellent Stay
Daniel was an excellent host and provided us with a very comfortable stay. His property is beautifully restored and very modern. We appreciated his information in regard to trains, local supermarkets, where to eat, etc., as well as the nice bottle of red wine he provided. After having been in Barcelona amongst huge crowds, we really enjoyed the tranquility of the village (20,000 people). Getting to the airport by train was an easy 1-hour trip, and into the city of Barcelona only 30 minutes. Would definitely stay again in future.

Hidden Gem in the city
Unique property that is quiet and private but within the city. Very clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed. Daniel was very helpful restaurant suggestions and transportation into the centre of Barcelona.

Family gathering.
Our small family gathering was enhanced by the sheer pleasure of being around this beautiful property. Surrounded by well tended gardens, the apartment is ample, comfortable, clean, well equipped. Very convenient split floor plan. Our compliments to Manager Daniel's full commitment. Five Stars of All Colors for this Oasis.

Great accommodation and host
We wanted to visit Barcelona and the surrounding area. This was the perfect location to do that with a car. Daniel, the owner, was the perfect host. The accommodation was great for a family of four, spacious and very clean. The train station to Barcelona is a 10 minute walk with a direct service into the city taking 30 minutes. We drove to Montserrat, a 45 minute drive with fantastic views. Montserrat is a special place. The nearest beach is a 20 minute drive away. The property is well equipped, very comfortable with a nice outside space to unwind at the end of a busy day. There are restaurants and bars close by. Granollers is a 15 minute easy walk, a good sized town with all the facilities. I couldn't recommend Daniel and the property highly enough, we will definitely be staying here again, many thanks for a great stay.

A great play to explore outside of Barcelona
When we arrived we nearly thought we were in the wrong place. I was in a normal residential street with apartments blocks surrounding us however behind the huge wooden gate was a little paradise. Daniel and his wife had converted an old farm house into a great place to stay at the edge of the town. We were in the two bedroom ground floor apartment. It had two bedrooms both with their own bathroom, a huge living room and kitchen area, and an enclosed courtyard to share with the other holiday let. We enjoyed it in the morning sun for our breakfast. Daniel was great at giving us ideas of where to visit. We had two days exploring beautiful old villages, one by the beaches near Sa Tuna and one up in the hills near Besalu. Another day we went to Girona which was about 50 minutes by car, and we spent a chilled day at the local beach (20 minutes away) of Marato eating tapas lunch. Daniel also found a running route for my husband which he emailed to us. We loved the cake they left for us on our second day! Thank you to you both for being great hosts.

A slice of country - In the city!
This was the perfect home for our family of four on a trip to Barcelona. The house itself is an amazing restored farmhouse completed recently and with painstaking attention to detail. It is an open floor plan with high ceilings and a feeling of home. the two bedrooms and two separate bathrooms were spacious and well appointed. The living room is comfortable with a large television and the kitchen equipped with the basics we needed. We also enjoyed the courtyard (former horse stable) for our morning coffee and a place to sit and enjoy the short thunder storm. The house is a large fenced "compound" in the heart of a safe and cheerful residential neighborhood and when we arrived, the whole family said "wow!". The location was also well-situated for exploring being close to two train stations with easy non-transfer service right into downtown Barcelona. The local area has all of the amenities and we had one of our best meals during our month in Spain right down the road at Fonda Europa (thanks for the recommendation Daniel!). Daniel was a great host making our arrival easy and giving us the information we needed to get pointed in the right direction for our exploration of Barcelona and the surrounding area. We will definitely be back!

Farmhouse apartment hidden treasure
Pleasant, clean and tastefully decorated old, yet new apartment on a farm. Daniel is very kind proprietor who goes out of his way to be of service. Upon arrival he personally greeted us to his beautiful farmhouse. He spent time with us explaining best places in the area to visit, buy fresh fruits and eat. Then he went the extra mile and phoned to make reservations for us in a small garden, vegetarian restaurant with organic veggies grown on the owners property. Dinner was fantastic and red beet soup was to die for!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, super Gastgeber!!
Eine stillvoll restaurierte, mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtete Wohnung in einem 200 Jahre alten Haus, in ruhiger, trotzdem zentraler Lage, ca. 30 km von Barcelona und 20km von Mataró entfernt. Alles absolut sauber. Die Betten sind bequem, Bettwäsche (Handtücher, Küchentücher, Seife, Showergel und Shampoo) werden bereitgestellt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgerüstet, Kaffekapseln, Tee, Zucker, Gewürze sind vorhanden. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und wird mit einer Schmusekatze gekrönt. Zum Ende des Highlight: der Gastgeber! Die Kommunikation war von der Buchung bis zur Verabschiedung sehr angenehm und er war extrem hilfsbereit. Wir wurden mit Wein und viel Freundlichkeit begrüßt. Gleich nach Ankunft haben wir eine Karte mit allen wichtigen Informationen erhalten. Jeden Tag wurde nach unserem Wohlsein gefragt, sogar auf unserer Muttersprache. Fazit: Wir waren wunschlos glücklich, die Unterkunft und den Gastgeber kann ich 100 prozentig weiterempfehlen!
