The hotel is not 4 star hotel by any standards. The AC is not working so get ready to sweet, no safe in the room no safely lock and lots of mold in bathroom. You will notice not well maintained hotel from moment you enter the lobby as smell of mold and chemicals is overpowering.

They ran out of food on Sunday night so they only had two options out of a large menu. I also reached out 4 times to find out about a lost and found item and never got a response. I send a message via WhatsApp and they gave me the “Amallaves” email and I sent several messages with no response. The hotel has a serious mold issue, so if you’re allergic book somewhere else. Overall disappointed

The. Hotel has leaks above ceiling the water from the shower goes out the shower that can be safety hazards. The furniture drawers would no close make it unsafe. When i reporter this to the front supposed they send someone to fix it but it did not work. They did not offer me to accommodate me in different room. Water was supposed to be left for courtesy but they did not. Customer service is very low, they not attentive to customers like it use to be a few year. I hope the Sky took over from GHL. I hope the new management are able to change all negative positions this hotel is on.

🚨 WARNING: Don’t waste your $ at Sky Collection🚨

This place is all smoke and mirrors. They care more about looking like a movie set than treating guests with basic respect. The “Suites” are a complete scam—dated, cramped, and falling apart. The new staff sealed the deal for me: rude, clueless, and totally unprofessional. Loyalty means nothing here. If you value your time, your comfort, or your money, look elsewhere. There are plenty of hotels in Barranquilla that actually deliver what they promise. Sky Collection is a façade—avoid it at all costs.

If you review my profile, you’ll notice I’ve never left a negative review. Well, this will be the first. Este hotel no sirve para NADA. I had an atrocious time. The air conditioning unit broke. The wifi network was deficient, totally unusable. Seriously, they have three different networks and all of them stink. Attention was lacking. Overall, I left this hotel underwhelmed after just one night. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere!

Hotel and room smelled intensely of mold. The shower had a bad leak that left the water spilling out under the walls and you could see the humidity and water damage in the wall. The bed was alright for cleanliness but the room was not cleaned well and had humidity damage. Despite the AC working well. Do not recommend the breakfast. I’d suggest going around the corner to Cheveronni coffee restaurant.
