My best friend and I (both women) stayed one night recently, and while the price was affordable and the beds and pillows were comfortable, our experience overall was disappointing. Our room felt very damp, even after turning on the A/C, the moisture never went away. The sheets and bedding actually felt wet the entire night, which made it hard to relax or get a good sleep. The A/C was off when we arrived, and the room was quite warm and stuffy. To make matters worse, we found a dirty, crumpled tissue beside one of the beds, not exactly the clean first impression we were hoping for. Our room was in the back section of the hotel, which felt a bit sketchy and isolated. We had wanted to park closer to the roadside for better visibility and safety, but the walkway to the back was blocked off, forcing us to walk around where there are larger rocks. The back entrance was dimly lit, with a dirty stairwell and an old BBQ just sitting there, not welcoming at all. Adding to our discomfort, the room was already open when we got there, with the bar lock stuck in the door, which made us feel uneasy walking in. A small perk was the 10% off coupon for Boston Pizza, but it would've been nicer to have a discount at a restaurant closer to the hotel like St. Louis Bar & Grill, which was right across the lot. Overall, while the price and beds were decent, the cleanliness, dampness, and general atmosphere left a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t stay here again unless some improvements were made.

Everything was good except the 'make my room' facility. You need to stay at least 3 days to request 'make my room'? I mean seriously!! Also had to ask for amenities in the front desk which I did not like. Otherwise I was a good stay!

There was no one at the front desk when we walked in.(roughly around 6pm) After, a lady helped us at the front who was incredibly sweet and kind. We put down our stuff and left for dinner and a movie and when we came back we noticed water all over the carpet with a weird red colour stain. The room smelled weird when we walked in but we didn’t look around immediately. We went to the desk around 12:30am when we got back from our movie to leave from the water all over the room and the guy at the desk seemed to have no interest in our complaints for leaving.

Comfort Inn Collingwood

This is a nice inn to stay with the family if you do not want to pay blue mountain rates per night. It is a 13 min drive to blue mountain from there which is perfect. The staff were friendly and served us well. The breakfast offered was pretty good, my only critique is that the dining room space is small and cannot fully accommodate the guests that stay there on the weekend, especially if it is a long weekend. Also there are tongs and gloves provided to self serve the food, but staff are not monitoring the guests usage of those safety items when handling food, so many guests are using their hands instead of the serving utensils, which is not good. The room was spacious, we were a family of five people and it was a good size. The bathroom could have been upgraded a little more and more towels provided. The fireplace lounge area had couches that were pealing, but overall a good stay.
