Pretty location in a grand house
Great for our 2 nt stay to join up with family after Xmas. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment but it smelt lovely! Room very nice and comfortable with wonderful view.

Nice hotel with character
Nice hotel. Great service. Close to Bath. The charm of a hotel this age easily outweighs the shower water pressure or absence of mixer taps that some people have commented on. Focus on the building and great service and you will have a great stay.

Exceeded our expectations
What an amazing location. Took a long weekend here and so glad we did. Upon arrival, the gentleman on reception was what you would expect from a top London hotel as he was brilliant. Gave all the necessary information we needed on the hotel, treated us as individuals and not as other chains do with all the insincere platitudes. We'd asked for a quiet room due to a sleep disorder, in our booking and were given a top floor one with lovely views down the valley. The super king-sized bed was so good that we had the best night sleep in ages and almost missed breakfast. That too was good. Went into Bath that evening for dinner but parking was a nightmare as was trying to pay via app so we went back to hotel. Glad we did. Food was perfect as was our waiter. Thanks Limpley Stoke Hotel and all your staff for making it a memorable stay. We WILL be back.

The staff were rude, the hotel was in the middle if nowhere and we were advised there wss no food options on one of the days due to christmas parties. This information was provided the day before our stay and there were no alternatives nearby. We did not stay for this reason and had to find alternative accommodation
