very expensive stay due to local music festival which I appreciate is a case of supply and demand.
Additionally charged ÂŁ6.00 per day for parking (when some of our party were offer it for free) plus additional ÂŁ10 to checkin at 1.00 rather than 2.00 pm (rooms were ready so no inconvenience for the hotel) was the icing on the cake. To be honest wouldnt consider Travelodge again. Hotel staff seemed in short supply/overworked although they were helpful and pleasaent wwere
Hotel was well situated for transport and city attractions.
Staff were excellent and the rooms were spacious and well equipped. Best lighting system and extremely comfortable beds.
I just wish they would provide some shelves and luggage racks. At 70 yrs of age it is a bit much to be kneeling on the floor to find things in the suitcase.
Would definately recommend and if ever back in Bath will stay there again.
Points faibles : Service et personnel, confort de la chambre
Disappointed
The rooms are bare bones. When we first arrived they put us in a room very very far from the main lobby. I asked to change rooms to be closer which they did however the rooms are very small. I asked for a bigger one they said they did not have one. I found out later to ask for a family room that they were the same price. Nothing but a small bar of soap was in the bathroom. No wash cloths. Nothing. The beds were very tiny. I had an adapter for my dryer but it blew it out within two seconds. My friend's computer blew its battery also with the adapter.
The breakfast room was nice overlooking the canal.
If you are going to the theater as we were it was a very inconveniently long walk thru a tunnel to get from the main part of the city to the hotel. In the dark you had to be with someone you could not walk by yourself back to the hotel.
