Stunning experience

Stayed for 2 nights. Communication in advance was excellent with good advice. Good parking at the front of a beautiful building. Interior was tastefully decorated and the room was pristine. Bathroom was so nice that my wife has challenged me to recreate it at home. Breakfast was so good we left later than planned so we wouldn’t miss it on the second day. Can’t speak highly enough of the 2 nights we spent there.

I stayed here many years ago before the renovations were done and wanted to stay again but never had the opportunity till now. They have done an amazing job with the renovations. I had a wonderful stay and wished i could have stayed longer. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are very clean and everything you need in them. It is in a very convinient spot and a short walk down the hill into the town centre. I am already planning my next visit so i can hopefully stay here again. I have only goid things to say about the staff and the place

Lovely well presented property. Tasty breakfast with lots of options. Room was spotless and comfortable. Was in easy reach of central Bath. What really stood out was the brilliant friendly staff team. They are a real asset to the business and I really hope they are appreciated.

What a wonderful place! The decor, the aroma - the little touches, feels very well thought through. Freshly cooked breakfast to order was a treat too! Easy check in after hours, really comfy bed, great water pressure - couldn’t fault it.

Nice hotel. 20 min downhill walk to historic Bath. It’s uphill coming back! Delicious breakfast. Nice staff. Just know that parking is tight and only 8 spots. If you don’t get one, it’s difficult to find any street parking nearby.

Lovely hotel across the river but within convenient walking distance of the main attractions in Bath. Our room didn't have A/C but looked into the rose garden, so it was cool and quiet. The freshly cooked breakfast was a treat!

Unfortunately it was 30 degrees the two days we stayed here. Being on the top level, the room was uncomfortably hot and the fan provided made no difference. We attempted to contact staff using the number provided as well as message through expedia to request a change of room or additional fan. We even sat in the reception for hours each night, ringing the bell in the hopes we could speak to one of the staff and to escape the heat in the room. We did not receive a response until moments before checking out which was very disappointing. While we understand the building is old, attempting to sleep when it was 28 degrees inside the room was impossible. Aside from the heating and poor communication the room was nice and the breakfast tasty.

Def would recommend! Loved it! Luxurious room/breakfast experience. Great staff too. Was worried about parking but actually plenty of room. Also, v good location. My 87 year old slow walking mum was able to walk into the city and back each day we were there, and that was up the slope! She said it was an easy/enjoyable walk! We had planned to use buses but didn’t need to.

Room is well sized, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is high grade and yummy. One suggested improvement is to replace the electric kettle in the room as it switches off on its on shortly after turning on. A small complaint about the sound insulation. One has to bear noise nuisance if you were staying downstairs with occupancy immediately above.

Very welcoming

Such a lovely welcoming team, especially Victoria. The breakfast is excellent. Location is great as there are bus stops right outside, or you can walk but beware of the hill on the way back!
