Hopkins Coastal Cottage

Incredibly charming with coastal ambiance, attention to detail, wonderful amenities and tasteful features. This home is comfortable and spacious with 10-foot ceilings, Crown Moulding and tons of large windows allowing natural sunlight to stream throughout the open space. Beautiful wide plank wood flooring and ceramic tile in bathrooms.

Lovely modern kitchen with marble countertops, gas stove, large kitchen with farm style sink and island with seating along with top-of-the-line appliances. Bathrooms also with marble countertops. Master bath has large new free floating soaking tub with double sinks and glass enclosed walk-in shower. Guest bathroom has glass enclosed walk-in shower with sink and is open access to the main great area. There is a full separate laundry room with new washer and dryer that sits off the kitchen.

Home entry has a large and charming quintessential southern screened in porch with plenty of seating including a porch swing. There is another screened in porch off kitchen, leading to the rear detached garage with grilling area and a HUGE pristine yard that is PRIVATE and Peaceful!

Within a few steps, a calm and tranquil white sandy beach awaits you to lay back, swim and decompress! You are also a 3-minute walk to the beautiful public beach where you can fish, launch your boat and hang out on the beach that allows dogs and has showers and restrooms!

Take an easy stroll on Beach Blvd. sidewalk to Downtown which is just 4 blocks away and experience some great seafood from casual to upscale restaurants. The Daquiri Shak also offers some refreshing "to-go" drinks!

Perfect stay.. Exactly what you need with great help from gracious host. Adorable two bedrooms. Great kitchen. Loved sitting on the front porch, screened in back porch and great backyard for kids. Great stay!

My two sons and I stayed here as a home base during a golf tournament nearby. We loved the location for quick dinners by golf cart and proximity to the beach for walks and fishing. The house had everything we needed and was spotless, which is really important to me!! We would definitely stay here again!

We all had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The Hopkins House was everything stated on the VRBO site. The location was excellent and very close to the beach. Our property manager kept in touch to ensure our stay went as planned. We will definitely come back in the future.

Quick weekend getaway

Absolutely loved our stay here! Located on a quiet shady street, but still close to downtown. The cottage is perfect for a family, having all the necessary items for cooking and going to the beach. The screened-in porches were lovely!

Dog friendly

It was refreshing to stay in a dog friendly rental that was spotless and well furnished. The neighbors were friendly and made us feel welcome during the long evenings we spent on the front porch. We’ll be back.

Perfect home for a perfect weekend getaway.

My husband and I were so excited to stay at this property! The pictures on the listing only hint to the beauty of this home. They truly do not do it justice! The home is thoughtfully planned out in every way. The decor is beautiful, yet inviting. From the moment you walk through the door, it just feels like home! The outdoor areas were amazing as well. Our mid-October trip was perfectly timed to enjoy cool mornings and gorgeous evenings on the back porch or the porch out back by the garage. The kitchen nor the grill was used while we were there, but it seemed to be well stocked and to have all you would need to prepare meals there. Or, you could just walk the short distance to town to enjoy some of the amazing food offered by the Bay St. Louis restaurants! And don’t forget to check out the local boutiques and antique stores! If you are looking for a gorgeous home with great outdoor areas and a great location for your next trip to Bay St. Louis, you can’t go wrong with this property!
