This private 544 sq ft nautical-themed bungalow features one large room with an open sleeping loft (the 2nd bedroom) overlooking the main floor.

Downstairs is furnished with two rockers, a sofa, a comfortable queen-size bed, a TV, and a dining table.

The loft has a full bed & twin bed. The kitchenette has basics but not equipped for cooking meals (microwave, Kuerig, small toaster over, small fridge).

Sleeping for 4-5. Ideally 2 adults and 3 kids or 4 adults. Off-street parking & room for a boat trailer with prior permission. No Pets or Smoking

A unique home away from home, this recently constructed bungalow is equipped to make your stay in Beaufort fun and comfortable. There is plenty of outdoor seating and lovely gardens to enjoy.

The location is ideal—just off Front Street and Taylors Creek. A pleasant waterfront walk/bike ride will take you downtown and its many shops and restaurants. Meander along the boardwalk, see boats from near and far and enjoy local flavors at many waterfront restaurants.

If you have bikes, kayaks, or your own boat, bring them...Beaufort is a bike, kayak, and boating-friendly town with convenient bike racks and public water access. If you'd rather, you can rent bikes, kayaks, and even golf cars nearby.

Public tennis/pickleball courts, an outdoor community basketball court, and a KID'S SPLASH PAD are also within easy walking distance.

There is ample off-street parking for your car and boat (but please contact the owner in advance if bringing a boat)

There's a lot to do in Beaufort.

- Take a ferry to Shackleford Banks or Cape Lookout lighthouse to enjoy the beach and waves.

- Rent kayaks or take a kayak tour.

- There are many tours--something for everyone-- a foodie, a ghost tour, a historic graveyard tour (fascinating).

- Guided bike tours.

- Visit NC Maritime Museum downtown.

- Drive to the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center on Harkers Island.

- During the summer months, there is live music downtown.

- Atlantic Beach, Fort Macon State Park and the NC Aquarium are a short drive.

- Deep-Sea Charter Fishing is available nearby.

The Beaufort Bungalow was perfect. My wife and young daughter stayed for 2 nights and its location allowed us to easily explore Beaufort, Morehead City and Atlantic Beach/Emerald Isle. The cottage itself is so cozy in a beautiful setting very close to the downtown Beaufort waterfront. My daughter loved the loft area. Would definitely stay here again. Had an opportunity to meet both Dave and Clara and both were super nice and helpful.

Where do I start sharing how this was a 5-Star review.Great hosts...very warm and friendly. Offered wonderful venues for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.The Bungalow is a quaint place full of character and comfort. This bungalow is as charming as the town! It sits back in beautifully landscaped gardens with fountains, hammocks, and of course, rocking chairs. The bungalow even has its own cozy porch with a porch swing, rocking chairs and table. It's perfect for reading or enjoying your morning coffee. Inside the bungalow, you will be swept away in a tastefully decorated nautical dream. The attention to detail is outstanding, with flags and a rope banister tied with boating knots. The hosts, Clara and Dave, are wonderful! They are friendly, helpful, and full of Beaufort history. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan on returning as soon as we can.

Great weekend getaway at the beach

Cute little bungalow in a great location near downtown Beaufort. Part of the city including our property lost power my first night in town and Dave was very helpful in providing flash lights and making sure I was settled, which seems emblematic of how they are as hosts. There were a lot of resources provided and Dave and Clara seem genuinely interested in Helping you enjoy their longtime home city. I would love to stay again in the future!

The Bungalow was perfect for our weekend getaway

It’s close enough to enjoy all the restaurants and shopping downtown has to offer, yet tucked away in a beautifully maintained garden that feels peaceful and secluded. The shade from the old, outstretched live oak branches created such a relaxing atmosphere.You can tell the hosts are truly passionate about providing a great experience. A Wonderful Experience

Great Property

We loved Beaufort and this is the perfect property to explore from. A great oasis close to everything but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Great weekend getaway

We throughly enjoyed our weekend at the bungalow. It was impeccably clean and we had plenty of space for my husband and two boys. The outdoor area was beautiful with plenty of seating. It is close to shops and restaurants, but far enough away from the lights and noise. We found it an easy walk by the water to downtown, but if you want to drive it would only take a couple of minutes. Dave and Clara were great and so friendly and patient with our boys. Highly recommend!

A little slice of heaven

Absolutely as cute as advertised. The cottage is adorable and Dave and Clara are wonderful hosts. This little gem was perfect for our girls 3 day getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed all of Dave and Clara's advice and suggestions about the area as well as simply chatting with them during our stay. Highly recommend and plan to come back in a few months.
