This charming picket fence 2br, 1.5 baths home is in the heart of small town Bedford, Indiana, the county seat of Lawrence County as well as the Limestone Capital of the World. Just 30mins from Bloomington and 90mins to either Indianapolis or Louisville, It’s home to an outdoor playground of caves, forests, rivers, Blue Springs Caverns, Spring Mill State Park. Also enjoy scenic drives through the rolling hills of southern Indiana to other close by parks and French Lick Resort and Casino.

Beautiful Home - Perfect for our short stay!

We were in for a short stay visiting family, and the house was an amazing alternative to getting rooms in a hotel. Everything, from the check-in process to the cleanliness, to the accommodations were just what we needed. We will definitely stay again when we travel back to Bedford.

Bedford Vacation

We enjoyed the property very much. Our only suggestion would be to leave information about the tv. It would be helpful to know which streaming services you subscribe to and how to access live tv. Otherwise we had no complaints. Property is well maintained and we would love to return in the future. The location was perfect, our family members live on J street. Thank you!

Spring Break Mini Trip

This VRBO home was suitable for our two night stay in Bedford. Plenty of room for our family of six to relax after a day out adventuring. The kitchen is equipped with dining basics for about eight people. Cookware is adequate for two or maybe three people. Beds were comfy. The only real downside is traffic noise. The home is situated about a block off of Lincoln Ave which is a main road. The owners are quick to reply when contacted. I would stay here again if needing a place in the area for a couple of nights.

Great rental in Southern Indiana

We stayed here to visit caves in Southern Indiana. The hostess had great communication, and has thought of many thing to make the stay easier- a step ladder to assist getting into the top bunks, a basket of little extras like Tums, Tylenol, and hair spray. She also sent a welcome message with restaurant recommendations before we arrived. The house was clean. We enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Wonderful stay!

We came for Easter weekend with our large family and the house was accommodating and big enough to fit all of us. The big bed was so comfortable and the mattresses were amazing. The kids didn’t care for the thin blankets in the bunkbed room but other than that we all loved it. Would recommend 10/10 Thanks!

Perfect Small Town Getaway

We loved our stay at D&D’s this past weekend! What great hosts!! There were five of us and the home had plenty of space to move around and plenty of seating for all. The home is spotless and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Beds are comfortable (even the sleeper sofa). We loved playing games at the dining room table and sat out on the deck on night while the sun was still warm. Quiet neighborhood and plenty of parking. Hosts were very prompt in responding to any questions that we had. We would recommend this home and will be back in the future!!

Very nice place

The house was perfect for our weekend getaway. It wasn't too far from anything, like food or a grocery store. It had enough space for all of us and plenty of lounge space in the living room for us to watch the game.The owners were quick to respond to questions and were wonderful hosts.

Weekend Away

A fabulous little home! Had everything we needed for a weekend away for the Persimmon Festival. Fast and easy communication with the owner. One bedroom with a king bed and full bathroom. Second bedroom with two bunk beds (so four twin beds). Half bath in the hall. Plenty of seating in the living room. Dinning room with a table that seats six. VERY CLEAN HOME!! We will stay hear again when visiting southern Indiana. Thank you for the accommodations.
