Good rooms, close to airport but not the best communication, frequent loud planes and some unhelpful staff.
Anne Tong was there when I checked out and it was really nice to speak to someone friendly. She also helped me work out the GBP to Yuen exchange rate which I really appreciated.
But Cindy Li at 2am when I checked in was not very nice at all. She was abrupt and not welcoming. She came across very rude. was very tired and distressed after a difficult time getting to the hotel from the airport, after having random men in the parking lot follow me to try and get me to book them for a taxi and a delayed flight. Poor first impression for this hotel, as I would expect someone at reception to at least say 'how was your journey' or 'welcome' or even just 'hello.' She just said 'checking in' and then raised her voice several times when I didn't understand how to access the WiFi. She then pointed to the left when she gave me the key, without explaining where to go, if there was a restaurant etc. I was so disgusted, I just left and found the elevators to my room. FYI, this was not a language barrier, she spoke English.
My room was very big, with a very comfortable bed, good large shower, toothbrush, soap and other toiletries. They provide earplugs for the plane noise. Aircon in the room is good but not good in reception. I didn't have breakfast.
I had to remove a 2 stars for the unfriendly welcome when I arrived and the fact that no one responded to airport transfer message.
