Good

I was on my own, which probably helped, as the odd shower cubicle straight into the bedroom etc didnt bother me.
The bed was comfortable with enough space to move around, and the small desk by the window held my travel kettle i had had the foredight to bring.
The room was very clean, I had seen bad reviews here that said otherwise so they had upped their game. I was on the 6th floor but the lifts werent busy and it meant it was quiet.
Its a good hotel if like me you know you are going to be busy everyday and just need a base to snooze in.
I booked to stay at the Ibis budget hotel as I had a medical appointment in Belfast, I know the hotel has budget in its name, hut there wasn't even coffee or tea making facilities in the room, it mean, the least any hotel should do is have the facilities for their guests to make a cup of tea or coffee.
Other than that the room is what you pay for.
Close to most things - there was an unpleasant odor in the hallways leading to the room. Check in insisted that we had not prepaid for the room had to show proof. Room was basic.

Lovely property, but possibly in the ‘wrong are’ of town, too many chavs/piss-heads in the area, but not the hotel’s fault

Very friendly staff. Close to city centre and Queens University. Good breakfast. Hotel clean.
Shower was in the room which might be an issue if travelling with friends not family.
Toilet light was automatic and stayed on for ages, also switched on randomly in middle of the night.
Air con switches off after a relatively short amount of time (to conserve energy) so we often were woken up in the middle of the night in a boiling hot room.
Hotel was very basic but it was walkable to the city centre which was a bonus. Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was cleaned daily. Lots of amenities close by which was good too.
