Happy hols

Very friendly family run hotel, easy place to stay with very good food and a well stocked bar, beach marina and restaurants in walking distance, a great base to discover this beautiful area. Hope to return soon.

An excellent hotel, with very helpful proprietors

This is an excellent family-run hotel, which I have used on several occasions in the past. The room was comfortable, and equipped with a shower cabinet (which I prefer) rather than a shower over the bath. The restaurant serves very good food and the service is superb. There is also a comfortable and well stocked bar. The wifi, which caused a problem with my old computer in the past, now works perfectly with my new one. On this occasion, my car suffered a puncture which required the purchase of a new tyre and the proprietors could not have been more helpful. They offered to collect me from the garage should the work take an extended period. Fortunately this proved unnecessary but the offer was very much appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel.

A very good hotel

I have used this excellent hotel several times in the past, and shall continue to do so whenever I am in Benodet. On my last visit I had trouble accessing the internet, but otherwise I was very satisfied. It should be noted that, in the winter moths, the restaurant is closed on Sundays, but there are a number of other restaurants available nearby.

Fantastic hotel in beautiful seaside town

Lovely stay in this friendly family run hotel. Great location and lovely walk to a beautiful beach. The owners were extremely helpful and always around during our four night stay. The pool was clean and warm and a lovely way to spend the late afternoon after exploring the region. There were plenty of chairs outside to relax in the delightful garden. The breakfast was good and we had a tasty evening meal on our last night. Would definelty recommend to anyone visiting that area of France.

Lovely family-run hotel

A very accommodating family hotel with first-class welcoming service from the family and other staff. Beautiful garden, delightful swimming pool and most enjoyable meals. Breakfast was excellent with so many choices and delicious evening meals.

Very good hotel

A very good hotel, run by a friendly and helpful couple, both of whom spoke excellent English. The room was comfortable, if compact, and there were two English speaking television channels, including BBC. There were no facilities for making tea or coffee. The restaurant provides a good choice of local food, and the service was first-class. The food was well cooked and presented, although I would have liked a wider choice of vegetables. However, it represented good value, and I chose to eat in each night of my stay. There is also a well-stocked and comfortable bar. I shall certainly use the Armoric should I stay in Benodet in the future

Family run hotel. Recommended.

We stayed here for a week in August 2016. Irene and Michel were most welcoming and friendly (and speak perfect english). The hotel is lovely with a peaceful garden area and a very nice swimming pool. Room was comfortable with a modern newly fitted bathroom. A problem with the shower was fixed the same day we reported it. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of bread, pastries, eggs, cereals etc. Dined in the restaurant one one evening and had a decent meal at a reasonable price. Minor nitpick is that the room could have done with a fan (there is no air conditioning), however we were there on probably the hottest day of the year! We really enjoyed our week at the Armoric.

Excellent value

Just stayed for a couple of nights over a bank holiday. Very friendly service, English spoken. Typically French decor but comortable and clean. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on the food. Good value and centrally located for all amenities in Benodet.

L'accueil et l'écoute du personnel p: parfait Quant a la chambre située dans l'annexe déçu par ses dimensions. D'autre part = la salle d'eau : miroir placé sur le mur perpendiculaire au lavabo donc difficile de se raser car face a celui-ci la cuvette des wc, aucun suport dans la douche pour l'essentiel de toilette et sauf erreur défaut de VMC car le sol reste humide. TRES DECU cette chambre ne correspond aux critÚres que l'ont attend dans un établissement de cette categorie

Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© 3 nuits dans cet hĂŽtel et malheureusement, l’expĂ©rience a Ă©tĂ© globalement dĂ©cevante. la dĂ©coration a Ă©tĂ© refaite avec soin, ce qui donne une bonne premiĂšre impression. Mais plusieurs points essentiels laissent vraiment Ă  dĂ©sirer. Tout d’abord, le stationnement, peu de places disponibles et les box situĂ©s sous l’hĂŽtel sont extrĂȘmement humides, mauvaises odeurs et une hauteur sous plafond trĂšs basse. Mon vĂ©hicule ne passait tout simplement pas. Ensuite, l’absence de climatisation dans les chambres est une problĂ©matique, surtout en plein Ă©té  Notre chambre, situĂ©e au 3ᔉ Ă©tage, sous la toiture, Ă©tait mal isolĂ©e thermiquement. Pour tenter de la rafraĂźchir un peu ,nous avons dĂ» ouvrir les fenĂȘtres
 ce qui s’est avĂ©rĂ© impossible cĂŽtĂ© rue tant le bruit des voitures, motos et mobylettes Ă©tait incessant, y compris la nuit. RĂ©sultat : trĂšs mal dormi. MalgrĂ© nos demandes, pas de possibilitĂ© de changer de chambre, tout Ă©tait rĂ©servé  Nous Ă©tions venus pour nous reposer, nous sommes repartis plus fatiguĂ©s. CĂŽtĂ© mĂ©nage, lĂ  aussi, le strict minimum est fait : le lit est refait, mais la salle de bain n’était pas nettoyĂ©e, ce qui est pourtant une prestation de base.nous avons mĂȘme retrouvĂ© une serviette de toilette usagĂ©e derriĂšre la porte de la salle de bain Ă  notre arrivĂ©e, ce qui pose des questions sur le soin apportĂ© Ă  l’entretien des chambres. Le petit dĂ©jeuner est correct, sans plus. Rien d’exceptionnel
