Inside, vintage vinyl spins on the record player, setting the perfect mountain mood. This Cloud Nine Stays cabin is your own slice of paradise on 2 private acres. Whether you're planning a romantic escape or gathering for s'mores around the fire pit, we've mastered the art of "can we stay forever?" Just 20 minutes from Berkeley Springs, less than 2 hrs from DC, but feels like a world away.

☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆

This two-story cabin has two comfortable bedrooms, each carefully designed to make you feel relaxed during your vacation. On the top floor in the loft, you’ll find two full beds with forest views.

On the bottom floor, there’s a queen bed wrapped in luxurious crisp white linens. While we don’t have traditional closets, we do provide a dresser and a creative solution to hang clothes.

☆☆ BATHROOM ☆☆

On the main floor, you’ll find an updated bathroom with a vanity and shower/tub combination, so you can choose how you want to wash up after a day exploring! We do provide moisturizing shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, although don’t forget to bring extra if you plan to enjoy a longer visit.

On the bottom floor there is an iron and ironing board, so you can keep your clothes fresh for the entirety of your stay!

☆☆ KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM ☆☆

This kitchen is the perfect place to whip up delicious meals. You’ll have all the kitchen essentials to make your family's favorite dishes and more. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning in the dining area with seating for your whole group.

The living room is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Cozy up on the leather sofa while watching a movie on the TV. Prefer to stay home and read a book? The large open windows and sky high ceilings bring in tons of natural light to bury yourself in a novel or try your luck at one of the many board games.

For our traveling parents, we supply both a pack-n-play (no padding or sheets provided) and a booster seat (9 - 36 months and up to 37 pounds).

Step outside onto the deck located just off the dining room. This deck features an outdoor couch, corn hole and a hot tub. Enjoy an evening under the stars surrounding a cozy fire pit or take a dip in the jetted hot tub.

***This is a remote property without many stores. Plan accordingly. There is a Dollar General nearby, however, a grocery store is 20+ minutes away.

***Your safety is important to us, and for that reason, we’ve installed one security camera at the front of the property as well as smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers. This camera can only see outside the cabin on the porch and parking area in front of the cabin.

Quiet place to stay in a beautiful setting

It's a lovely cabin in the woods. Within driving distance of both Berkeley Springs, WV, and Winchester, VA. Great place to relax and play games, or go outside in the hot tub and look at the stars.

Enchanted Oak Cabin (July 2024)

My wife and I rented Enchanted Oak Cabin for a relaxing anniversary getaway and we had a great experience. Reservation and check-in were easy and our host, Kasey, offered helpful suggestions about things to do in Berkeley Springs. The cabin is peaceful, quiet, and very secluded (deep in the forest, not another structure in sight), so it is a perfect escape from civilization, but the cabin itself provides a clean, comfortable, and modernized stay. The air conditioning worked extremely well, the kitchen was thoughtfully well-stocked with equipment, spices, coffee for the 2-cup (too small for 6 person occupancy, though) maker, a fresh bag of ice in the freezer, etc. The primary bed and common area furniture were very comfortable, and plenty of towels were supplied for both shower and hot tub. A note for guests - by virtue of the secluded nature of the cabin, the wifi is not great. While this is great for unplugging, it makes for some frustration when enjoying the included streaming tv services (fortunately, there is also a dvd player and lots of dvds!). Our only nitpick is that the cabin was in need of some over-deferred maintenance (e.g., porch's storm door wouldn't latch, furniture legs and some cabinet doors were wobbly, hot tub cover lift bar was rickety). These concerns, however, were very small in our overall experience. We will likely book the cabin again this fall to enjoy the changing of the leaves. Highly recommended!

Have to return

Ever been somewhere you want to return to? This place is it. Kasey was very responsive to messages, the cabin was clean and cozy, and the location is convenient to Berkely Springs, Winchester, Martinsburg, and a lot of smaller communities. Wildlife viewing, relaxing by the fire pit, enjoying the local fare (Lot 12 Public House is a must visit), and being able to shop local artisans made this an incredible trip for the wife and I. Thank you again Kasey and Jesse.
