Ideal location for my wife and I. Super quiet, almost too quiet as u can hear pine cones or acorns hitting the deck or rooftop thinking their might be someone else on the property. But it was just mother nature doing her thing. Wish we could have a fire pit outside, but that has nothing to do w the homeowner, just the city of big bear. Makes no sense. Also the city of big bear shuts power off at the sight of a storm in the area, so be aware of that. Maybe thats why there is SO many candles thru out the house. Hot tub was nice, plenty of cookware, blankets etc. Small ant problem near kitchen sink, found spray under sink and took care of that small situation. Thanks for everything

Perfect family place

Everything about this place was perfect. Location, near slopes, villages, places to eat, lake. Enough space for my family of 6. Whatever is listed is true and beyond. I could have cooked and baked a Thanksgiving feast and dishes, utensils, pots, pans that I will need is here. My little one cried coz she didn't want to leave the house. Jacuzzi was clean. Patio space, seating was big that's another reason I picked this... It's enough outside space for us to play with snow.

Location is in a good spot. The inside was clean and ready for our stay. Unfortunately, the renters before us didn't pick up after their dog so we had to do the clean up. Overall stay was good.

Nice property

This was a really nice little cabin in a great neighborhood. Kids were able to walk to Bear Mountain for skiing. Our only issues were that there is no table for eating during the winter (during the summer they have several outdoor tables that look great). There is no place to put dry groceries in the kitchen since all cabinets are filled with kitchen supplies. And there were no directions for the hot tub so we weren't able to use that. But the cabin is very cute and well maintained. Lots of tv subscriptions so we were able to watch several movies. And a nice snow service that came out and cleaned the driveway of all snow. We had a lovely time and would absolutely return.

Enjoyed our Stay

Property is located 10 minutes from Big Bear Village and the marina. Five minutes to grocery store. We all loved relaxing in the jacuzzi at night and playing pool. Very clean and comfortable place to stay. .We had no issues and our weekend was trouble free.

Awesome!

Excellent! Way more than we hoped for and expected. Clean, bright, roomy and stocked with more than we needed in the kitchen. Destination Big Bear was very prompt getting the plow service out when we were snowed in. We will definitely reserve this cabin next year and for years to come!

Place was terrific.....however.....

The process was quick and flawless. We arrived to B.B. with our son. Everything was there like described.....however the beds were AWFUL. So bad we left the next day. My husband slept on the Queen and it was hard as a rock and my son and I slept in the Master. My back ached so much I lost out on 2 nights of B.B. Please do something immediately about those beds. We paid so much but lost out. I cried all the way down the mountain but knew we couldn’t subject our backs to that another night. By the way tried to edit where it says we loved our stay to not really. I hope at least we get some of our money back. It would be the right thing to do.

Great Ski Weekend

The cabin was nice and well stocked. Was very close to the ski resorts, so that was really helpful since this was the first weekend all year with fresh powder, so parking at the resorts was impossible. Everything was clean and in working order. My only wish was that the sknow at the entrance to the cabin was cleared out before arriving, but it's not worth taking off a star. If you're renting a cabin for skiing, snow is to be expected.
