Welcome to Tala Mountain Studio! Let our beautifully-renovated Mountain Village Condo be your base for your Big Sky adventure or retreat. Whether you spend your days skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, golfing or exploring the natural beauty of the surroundings, look forward to returning to Tala Mountain Studio in the heart of Big Sky Resort.

The Hill Condos, a charming and quiet neighborhood, is perfectly located just a 10 minute walk to the slopes or steps from the free shuttle stop that runs every few minutes to the chairlifts. With a car, it's a two minute drive to Big Sky Resort base, the best skiing in America and a short drive down to the Town Center that has tons of shops, dining and great hikes. In the winter, you can easily get around by taking the free Skyline bus that stops right outside the condo complex. It is highly recommended to have an all-wheel-drive SUV in the winter months.

A unique gem with its own private entrance, our upscale condo is designed to provide you with everything you need for a stress-free retreat. Rest after your mountain adventure on a comfortable king mattress with soft linens, stream your show on the smart TV, or cook a gourmet meal in the new, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, quartz countertops and all the essentials including spices, dishes, pots and pans.The living space has recessed lighting, a very comfortable leather couch/sleeper sofa, a 50 inch smart TV and a soft throw for cozy nights. Playing cards and board games are available for your entertainment. Additionally, you can unwind with a warm shower in the spacious and modern walk-in shower.

This property is a real gem and we loved our stay here. It was in pristine condition with comfortable furnishings and just about every amenity you could hope for in a studio apartment. The location is great - only about 200 meters from the nearest shuttle stop to the mountain and if you have a car, it's an easy drive down to the Town Center.

This condo was just as expected relative to the pictures. Very nice and updated condo. It was well stocked with everything you would need. I appreciated that it had a king sized bed as well. The bed was comfortable but was starting to indent at each side. Nothing significant at this point. We stayed in December 2025 to ski/snowboard. Location is ideal to the Big Sky Mountain resort. About a 100 ft walk to where the Skyline Connect shuttle picks you up. Of note, you have to download the Skyline Connect app and register in order to request and receive transfers to the mountain base and back. If you’re considering this location do so with confidence. The owner, Bebe communicates promptly and is ready to assist. We enjoyed our stay. Be aware though, it is small. There was just two of us. Could accommodate a third but this would be tight. Otherwise, I would recommend and stay there again.

We had a perfect stay at Tala! The space was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed and more. The kitchen had all the essentials plus lovely extras like tea and honey, which made it feel especially welcoming. We loved coming home after a day out (incredibly comfy bed as well!). The location was amazing for the summer—an easy walk to Mountain Village. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient home base in Big Sky!

Newly Renovated Condo Close to Slopes

We had a great week at the condo and would definitely stay here again! It's a studio apartment, so the pull-out sofa/couch and the king-sized bed are all in one big room. Everything in the condo looks brand new: dishwasher, stove, microwave, washer/dryer, etc. The whole condo looks like it has undergone a recent (as of March 2025) head-to-toe renovation. It's easiest to get around Big Sky with a rental car, but the skier shuttle to the slopes is a short walk from the condo if you need it.

Great accomodations with attention to details

The 1 br condo unit that we rented was recently renovated and the host spared no expense in outfitting and remodeling. The unit is small, but every inch is optimized to accomodate the guests, kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with updated appliances and more than ample cooking utensils, including special touches such as new expresso maker, and stocked with coffee, treats for the slopes and variety of spices (a rarity). The bathroom was equally well equipped and the unit features two king size new beds, one sofa sleeper which was exceptionally comfortable. The unit is reasonably proximate to the mountain village, but does require a bit of a hike to the shuttle bus pick up point. Getting to the bus stop is not intuitive, but the host can provide explicit directions. Only concern is that you had better be close with your guests as the entire unit is 450 sq ft, so it is intimate living space, beds are two feet apart no wall separating the living room and bedroom.

Perfect Ski-cation for 2

Access to the mountain was so easy and free parking! It was the perfect home for my son and I. Like a fancy hotel on steroids. All the necessities in the kitchen and absolutely love an in unit washer and dryer. Owner is over-the-top organized from reservation to check in and checkout.

Father/Son Ski Vacation

Not only was as the location very nice and everything looked exactly like the pictures, but the appointments were splendid.This rental is 1st class!! Bed was very comfortable, bathroom/shower was roomy (even had pooporri), the tv was large and the kitchen was well appointed with very nice appliances. I would definitively stay at this location again and is awesome for couples. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I have travel a lot and this condo had more little things than anywhere I have ever stayed (coffee, coffee flavors, laundry detergent, etc, etc, etc). I was VERY impressed and give this condo a glowing review. My wife and I felt like this owner provided the most "little extra" amenities of anywhere we had ever stayed. Appliances are top of the line, etc, etc. Nothing bad to say at all. And the condo was decorated perfectly. Very nice job!!
