Novel way to camp. Beds and linens provided. Bathroom and wash up sink. Didnât take showersâ donât remember if listed. Didnât see one. Stayed warm and dry in spite of thunder showers and wind. Would do again.
A single outlet to be able to charge phone would be nice especially since there is no lighting option in the tipi besides our cell phone flashlight. We didn't think to bring an actual flashlight or lantern.
The tipis were a fun experience to add to our National Park adventures! Lee was an amzing host, very accomodating to our needs. Bigfork is a cool place to visit and hang out as well.
Staying in a tipi was a rare and fun experience. The host was more than kind and welcoming and though the accommodations were rustic, that was what added to the charm. It was a delightful stay in a quiet safe area.
Alles schief gelaufen! Expedia, Ihr habt das Gekd nicht verdient!
Loved this stay in Bigfork! The amenities and tipi were simple, but comfortable! A great way to slow down and enjoy the view. The cots were also surprisingly comfortable!
Lee, the owner, was terrific and helpful. We stayed in the main house (see review) and rented two of the tipees for my son and his friend. They loved the setting and the outside shower.
Loved the tipis! It rained the whole time we were there so it did drip, but otherwise was a great stay! There is a toilet, but not a shower so couldn't stay for too long. The owner was so kind and was very flexible with helping us out when our tipi dripped!
There were no clear instructions, so I had to go around the property for half an hour. I think the landlord should give step-by-step guide how to get there. Fortunately he quickly responded my call.
But... it was very cold at night. Like you sleep in the street you know. I had my sleeping bag, but still freaking cold!
The owners cat was on the bed when we arrived, my son is highly allergic and the website mentions nothing about cats having free reign. He/she defecated and peed in our Tipi. My husband and son had to sleep in the truck and we did not stay at all the second night, several attempts to contact owner went unanswered, no refund, apology etc.
Four of us stayed in two of Leeâs tepees. It was our first time sleeping in a tepee, and we were blessed with a beautiful night sky visible through the open flaps at the top. Great location - minutes from Big Fork, but remote enough to feel like youâre at a primitive camp site far from the city.
Leeâs property was fantastic. Love to camp and this was better than a tent by far. The beds were very comfortable and had a bathroom nearby. I wouldnât hesitate staying here again.
I needed to find somewhere for MT husband and college aged son to stay overnight before meeting their dishing guide in Somers at 7:30am They have experience sleeping in tips from our days in Scouts and OA. THIS was a level beyond and they both said it was a, "great experience"! I will certainly keep this site in mind as we travel to the Flathead to fish several times a year!!
Thanks for your excellent property!!
The Tee Pees were great, we rented all 3. Best nights sleep of our whole trip. Beds are super comfy. The solar shower is cool. The bathroom is minimalist but works just fine for what it is needed for. The serenity of the whole space was perfect. Would definitely stay again! Also Lee was a great host.
I stayed here with my husband and two daughters and we loved it!! What a fun experience!! Beds were comfortable. Path to the bathroom was lit which was super helpful at nighttime. Lee was great with communication! Would definitely recommend!
