I could see it was at one time many years ago that it was a nice property. Really needs to be updated. Or at least keep up with the painting and wash the carpets if you’re not going to replace them

nightmare, checked in no booking for 3 people, only double booked though I had booking, response Hotel.cpoms fault. did manage to get room for 3 although was told I would have to pay. Then only breakfast for 2, again I could pay for third person. Restaurant, staff poor, food awful for evening meal, breakfast was ok and staff at breakfast helpful and pleasant - will never return and told the manager that on check out

Reading some of the reviews, you’d think people were expecting this to be a 5* luxury spa hotel. It’s definitely dated and a bit shabby but for the price, really good value. Really friendly and helpful staff, a nice breakfast and efficient check in and check out. Our room was clean and comfortable and we’d have no hesitation staying here again.
