Nice hotel and clean room,heating not great and think rooms small and overpriced, bar and food prices a bit on the high side for what is available,staff very welcoming and helpful.

The room was simple but comfortable, the bathroom was dated and had paint peeling in the corner of the ceiling. The building was quiet. The reception staff are not particularly friendly but we did find a friendly bar waitron that was helpful. Parking is secure.

Hotel was as pictured, however accessibility was a major issue. The elevator was broken, and unbeknownst to us the room we had booked was at the top of the facility up multiple tight staircases. Additionally, the doors were oddly shaped & fitted making them hard to open and traverse. Finally, the bathroom had a huge step down in the middle of it and very slippery floors. Given that I was traveling with my older parents, these items would have been good to know in advance so we could have adjusted our reservations accordingly.

Poor service at reception, no one on the desk when we arrived, bar staff were initially reluctant to assist. Room was very dated and in need of TLC, the bathroom is poorly designed, toilet roll holder located in the wrong position, nowhere to hang towels, no soap dish, etc.

The hotel looks wonderful on the outside with lovely grounds. Our room was in the Coach House, we paid a bit extra for a Superior room. On first impression the room was well decorated & the bathroom was clean and modern, but it soon became clear it was lacking in some basics. There were no lamps (only overhead lights) the only mirror was over the sink in the bathroom and there was no mini fridge in the room. We were there as a stopover for a business trip
