Nice white bedding and towels, close to Stansted airport. Rooms are basic and need an upgrade. Carpet has stain marks. Bathroom is old but useable. Breakfast is only a basic buffet not much option for vegetarians. Decent enough hotel to have a shower and sleep after or before long flights.

The room was semi clean. And very out dated. Breakfast was not good at all. Very disappointed in my whole stay. But The gentleman on the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

Basic, but good value for the airport

It was a good distance from the airport for our trip The hotel at first sight looked quite swish, there was plenty of parking around the hotel. The reception was tiny and it was just the 1 member of staff running that and the bar/ restaurant area. He was friendly enough. Our room was a nice size and had what looked like freshly laid carpets. Unfortunately the mattress let the bed down, being a tad hard and you could feel the springs. We had a late dinner which was very basic, but tasted ok and reasonably priced too. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. We were really looking forward to some fresh coffee, but had to settle for instant. Only sausage, beans and bacon for hot choice and you had to ask for eggs. Otherwise there was bread for toast, butter and jam. Yoghurts and a couple of basic cereals and juice. Not bad for the price, just the service let it down with the 1 guy trying to do it all. Fix the flickering lights !

Overall great stay, just a couple of minor issues.

Perfect for what I needed. The staff were great, they made me feel welcome. The shuttle service I really did appreciate, they collected me from the airport within 10 minutes of me calling them, and then 4am the next morning they took me back to the airport and was even ready for me 10 minutes early. The bar I had some juices and again great service. I really enjoyed having a smart TV in the room, YouTube was awesome to be able to watch on the big tv. My only complaint is the heating, it was not turned on until 7pm and before that it was really cold in my room, I was unable to shower until the heating was on which was inconvenient as I wanted to be asleep by around 7pm due to waking at 3am. Also the bathroom didn’t have much in the was on accessories like conditioner/ shower gels etc . I was provided with half used bottles which was not nice. It felt like I was using someone else’s waste. So I’d definitely suggest heating to be at guests discretion for the price paid and also give new shower gels etc. but overall great stay and will definitely stay again as I travel 6-8 times per year.

The room's overall cleanliness is terrible, I must say. Mainly, their carpet looks very old and dirty, maybe that is the reason for having dim lights in the room. No shower products at all. I think the price of the room is not worth it.

Move setting. Expensive shuttle bus which doesn’t run in the afternoon. No reception phone, no info booklet in room and no hairdryer. Basic but cheap!
