High Windy View is a breathtaking vacation home located just minutes from Asheville and the Pisgah National Forest. With mountain views out of almost all windows and a charming balcony, and a covered hot tub really make this property come alive. It is easy to access with no steep or windy mountain roads. This gorgeous 2189 sq. ft. home boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bring the whole family and even a couple of friends. This rental sleeps up to 7 people!

The cabin’s upscale interior and luxurious kitchen bring a modern touch to your mountain experience. You’ll love the living room’s gorgeous stone fireplace mounted with a 60" TV and mountain views just out of the window. It is easily the focal point of the room!

After a long day of hiking or shopping, if you are looking for some quality time relaxing, you will absolutely love the cabin’s hot tub, where you can wind down for a blissful night of sleep each evening. It really helps complete the whole cabin experience!

The dazzling kitchen features lustrous stainless-steel appliances and beautiful gray cabinets. The island is perfect for prepping food and provides so much extra counter space. You’ll find a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, coffee pot, tableware, and so much more in this fully equipped kitchen. The dining table is located next to the kitchen and offers plenty of seating for the entire group to dine together.

The cabin's first bedroom is on the main level and offers a relaxing king-size bed. Catch a late-night show on your 50” TV before drifting off. You’ll love having a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with double sinks, a soaking tub, and a walk-in shower with rain head.

The second bedroom offers a queen-size bed and a large walk-in closet. Included is a desk and USBC connection to dual monitors.

The third bedroom features a full-size bed and twin trundle bed with desk and USBC connection to dual monitors with hardwired internet access. The second full bathroom is in the hallway near bedrooms 2 and 3.

Don’t worry about having to carry a bunch of dirty clothes home after your vacation - the home has an in-house free washer and dryer so you can keep your clothes clean and fresh all week long.

Girlfriend getaway

The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We were five adult women so two of us needed to share the king bed but everyone else had their own bed. The view is wonderful and the jacuzzi was great. Everything worked as described. If you're there for more than two days, bring toilet paper/dishwasher pods as only a "starter pack" is provided.

We had the most amazing time in this VRBO. Downtown black mountain is less than a 10 minute drive away with lots of cute stores and breweries. The property itself was very clean, everything was up to date and functional. We look forward to another vacation here again

Asheville/Biltmore Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the High Windy View home in Black Mountain. The house was apparently built in 2021 so it was relatively new. We appreciated the smart home features. The home was clean, and although we did not eat in the home was appropriately stocked if one desired to cook. Would have appreciated more than two towels/bedroom for a five night stay, and more toilet paper than one full roll and a little partial roll. And another minor irritant is that you are required to start a load of towels and strip all of the beds before you check out. Isn't that what the cleaning fees are for? The location was great being only 15 minutes to the Biltmore, downtown Asheville and the river arts district, and 30 minutes to the airport. And access to the Blue Ridge Parkway was quick. We were too early for fall colors but bet it would be beautiful in October. Liked the quaintness of Black Mountain with some great restaurants, bars/breweries and shops. Our meal and service at Pure and Proper was exceptional, and My Father's Pizza was excellent also. Would recommend staying here as our time was very quiet and relaxing.

Beyond Expectations!

This was a beautiful new home with beautiful views of the mountains. It was easy to find and no four wheel drive needed! Our trip was interrupted with my 95 year old father being transported to Mission Hospital in Asheville. The house was only 15 minutes from the hospital and an easy drive. Although this was not the trip we planned we were so thankful to have such a beautiful place to come back to and rest comfortably. You won’t be disappointed in this rental. Maybe one day we will return to enjoy all the beauty and activities this area offers.

Great house

Brand new house in a wonderful neighborhood. Beautiful view of the mountains. Loved the Google Smart connection throughout the house and lights. Could have used better pillows in the Master bedroom. Small detail, but otherwise 9.5 out of ten. We are already planning on trying to rent this house again next summer

Exploring Asheville

Very nice home on a fairly newly developed street in Black Mountain. Enjoyed the deck off the family room for morning coffee & evening relaxing. Nice bedrooms, kitchen & family room. We used the hot tub every evening after our day hikes throughout the Asheville area. Bring extra towels for hot tub time. Appreciate having dish soap, dishwasher pods & laundry pods available. Would be nice to have extra kitchen trash bags & hand towels. A nice quiet location to explore Black Mountain & surrounding Asheville area!

Wonderful stay

This beautiful house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood conveniently close to several good restaurants and only 15 minutes from the Biltmore. The house was immaculately clean. We enjoyed using the hot tub after our days of exploring. My only regret is not staying an extra day. Only things I would mention for the home owners was the ceiling fan in the nature domain room is either imbalanced or needs tightened as it was making a lot of noise/movement when on; otherwise I would just update your binder about use of tv streaming service to reduce confusion. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place, but bad plumbing!

We had a wonderful stay at High Windy View, but with a major inconvenience. Unfortunately, the main bathroom toilet stopping working on our first night, so we had to share the ensuite master bathroom toilet for the entirety of our stay. This was a bit tricky when you had to go during the night and eliminated any sort of privacy for the couple staying in the master bedroom. Due to it being a holiday weekend (even though the initial outreach was made on 12/30) it was not fixed until after we left. We tried fixing it on our own, but it seemed to be an overall issue in the house as the second bathroom also had a weak flush. Aside from that, it's a beautiful and fully equipped/supplied house that is great for a mountain retreat. We'll most likely return, but not sure if we'll take a chance over a holiday just to be on the safe side!

Gorgeous home and beautiful surroundings

The property was perfect for my family. Our boys loved the hot tub and tech-friendly home. My mother and wife loved the house's layout and decorations, cleanliness, and beautiful views from the deck. The beds slept perfectly, and the dogs had plenty of room to run and fetch in the large yard to the side of the house. We will definitely go back again soon.

Would have enjoyed more if it was stocked with a couple more supplies.

We had a blast! Took my 17 year old on a birthday trip with my other 2 daughters and my 2 sisters. The home was lovely and was very clean. My kids enjoyed playing with the smart home features. “Google turn on the lights” The hot tub was amazing and my girls all enjoyed that very much! My only complaint is that there was only half a roll of toilet paper in both bathrooms and no extra!! There is nothing quite like sitting on the toilet and yelling across the house for someone to find some toilet paper and not finding any! This is below poor hosting! If you can’t afford even one extra roll of toilet paper for your guests maybe rethinking the rental business should be in play. This one thing may be a little minor to some but to me and my girls it kinda put a damper on the whole stay. This should be somewhere in large print and BOLD writing that the toilet paper you get on the roll is ALL you get. If I had known in advance it probably would have been a little different. I could have brought my own and been a little more prepared. All in all it is a beautiful home and we did enjoy our stay but MAKE SURE YOU BRING YOUR OWN TOILET PAPER!!

Clean and comfy

This property was easily located by GPS. Check in/out easy. All staples are available.(tissue, hand soap, laundry/dish detergent/shampoo, spices, sugar, coffee) Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cookware. However, Bakeware is needed like casserole dishes and something to bake brownies( no 9x13 pans or glassware). Very clean house and comfy beds. Enjoyed having garage use since weather was icy cold. Heat worked perfectly. Leary of gas logs due to strong gas smell. Hot tub was t used due to low outside temps. Great stay as a hub for our visit to Asheville and Biltmore House. Our new family enjoyed bonding over Christmas. Thank you for welcoming us into your home.

Family girls trip

Took this trip for a wish list trip for my Mother and my sister came along. The house was beautiful and very clean. The smart house feature was fun for my 86 yr old mother to experience. It was lovely to have the Mountain View but in a one level house and without having to drive the curvy mountainous roads. It was perfect for our our needs! The kitchen is equipped with everything one would possibly need and the appliances are very new and modern. We enjoyed this very relaxing trip and were sad when it was over.

Thanksgiving Getaway

We chose to get out of town for Thanksgiving this year. This place did not disappoint. The layout was great and plenty of space. While the community didn’t offer long walks for the dogs, a great park with a path around the lake was 5 minutes away. The only thing I would have liked was a vacuum. I know the dogs drug in leaf’s and sand from their walks and I felt bad. House was convenient to all the local attractions. Porch was great to just sit and read.

Amazing home

First class all the way. Great well-stocked kitchen with the latest appliances. A master bedroom suite that I wish I could package up and take home with me. A spectacular view of the mountains from the back porch. A "smart" home, fun to experiment with..."google, turn off the living room lights!" A large dining room table that six long-time friends could sit around and enjoy a home-cooked meal (made easy in that beautiful kitchen mentioned earlier). An incredibly clean, 2-car garage. A lovely neighborhood of new homes. Great stay... but please note the trundle bed is not sufficient for 2 adults (especially two in their 70's) so plan accordingly.

Beautiful views and House

We had a wonderful time staying here. The view from the deck is awesome, enjoyed coffee every morning on the deck taking in the views. The house is immaculate and very spacious. Our family of four had plenty of room. Loved exploring Black mountain, Asheville, and hiking! Highly recommend Pisgah, Craggy Gardens, Mt Mitchell and HighFalls/Triple Falls to name a few. The hot tub was a nice treat after long days of exploring. Thank you for the memories.
