Very close to Pleasure Beach attractions

One night stay. Simple, modest, clean and very close to the Pleasure Beach attractions. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Tea tray in the room and plenty of hot water in the shower. We had an early start so we didn't take breakfast.

Fantastic place

Just a w/e visit to BPL to experience the illuminations, found this B&B on "search engine" on price. Within 5 min walk to nearest tram stop (south pier), just a 3 min walk of Wethersoon pub (Velvet Coaster) great location. The B&B is very clean, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast & 500ml of lager just £2, served chilled to perfection

Ok b&b but terrible bed.

Typical Blackpool b&b, dated but clean enough. It is in a great location for any south pier activities and the guys that run it are friendly and can offer a good parking option. Unfortunately the bed in our room was the worst I've ever slept on, felt like concrete blocks. We hardly slept all night and got up with a lot of aches and pains (not good before a day in the pleasure beach). If the matresses were changed then it is a good, cheap option for the area but I wouldn't stay in that bed again.

the Bed and breakfast were great and we were really close to the tourist attract`ions and a waterpark. The rooms were very spacious and very comfortable.

the couple that run the hotel are great and friendly and nothing is to much bother for them the only took over hotel late last year and are making improvments to hotel I enjoyed my stay there and will be staying with them next year when I am back there

very nice stay

The breakfast was very good as the mushrooms were not greasy like in some hotels. There was a fruit bowl and they made porridge for me. The hotel was quiet a night which was good and the bed was very comfortable. The TV had freeview. The shower and toilet were good and the washbasin was big enough. The room had plenty of drawers and cupboards and a nice hot drinks selection and a good sized kettle.

the car park for this hotel was not a car park, my car was marked a number amount of times due to the owner of the hotel parking so closey together. We booked a cheap room andit stated that we would have a shared bathroom, we only have a toilet, and we unable to to shower for three days.the breakfast was teriible, would not recommend.

Great location.

Comfy the staff were friendly and there was only a very short walk to see the best that Blackpool has to offer. My only prob is that the walls are thin so i needed ear pugs to sleep as i could here the quest next door snoring.

Took our 4 year old twin grandsons to blackpool for 1st time, wanted quiet location with bar, couldn't`have chosen better. Room was decent size and clean, our hosts were very helpful and couldn't`do enough,breakfast was lovely. Will certainly stay again, thank you

Comfortable room, charming hosts, amazing value

I had my misgivings when I booked because it seemed absurdly cheap; however, when we got there it had everything you'd expect, including breakfast included in the price. It was easy to park there and well-placed for the Pleasure Beach and south pier, plus the trams. The decor was a little old-fashioned but we had a very comfortable stay. The hosts were charming and attentive and couldn't do enough for us - and it's this, at the end of the day, that makes a hotel a good one, not the condition of its carpets or wallpaper.

went down to blackpool to play at the g casino .As I am p-laying till 4 or 5 in the morning I like a place that is close by and this hotel was right across the road from the casino.Hotel was very comfortable and the proprietors were very friendly.Stayed in a single room which met my requirements.As I didn't get back to my hotel till 4 or 5 ididnt get up for breakfast but on the day I was leaving I did get up for breakfast and it was excellent would definitely stay there again and as I am planning to go back to blackpool at the end of the month this will be my preferred choice.

Perfect base for families

This hotel is well situated ,close to front,tram stops and blackpool attractions. It is a basic hotel and as such offers good value. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating,families and children are made to feel welcome. The room we stayed in was small but clean and well kept. One of the main plus points of our stay were the amazing breakfasts which really did mean we often skipped lunch because they were so filling!

Value for mone

The owners of this B&B are lovely, wry accommodating, with a late bar and a breakfast that is served at a reasonable hour. However, the room I stayed in was small (although spotlessly clean) and needed work; there were holes in the wall and it needed decorating. The walls were very thin; I could hear snoring most nights, and there was only a tiny window which would not open. I'm afraid the bed was terrible; in the room I was in it was on a slope, and really needed a new mattress; it was incredibly lumpy. However, all this aside, for £20 per night it was a real bargain, and I would probaby go back there.
