Lovely historic hotel, very pleasant and helpful staff, good food and bar, easy parking. All great. Only suggestion for improvement was brighter bedside lights for reading. But loved our stay!

I have stayed now three times in the the Crown and will continue to do so regularly. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. The rooms are unique and homely. The hotel is also pet friendly so my dog gets to stay with me and looks forward to his welcome pack. The Crown is are fantastic place to stay and eat. I highly recomend it.

Loved our stay!

We had an amazing stay at the Crown! It is a beautiful old pub and hotel. We were travelling down south for a birthday celebration and really enjoyed our dinner at their restaurant which served superb food. The staff was lovely, especially our waitress Jessica. Our room for four adults was lovely, lots of space and very comfortable. They had a good car park which was very convienent. For such an old inn, it was very clearly looked after, would definitely recommend to other travellers and would stay there again ourselves.

This is an old building, which I think is being up rated, but the overall feeling was that the building is looking a bit tired, which is a bit sad because potentially it is a lovely building in a very good post. However, the staff more than make up for any shortcomings in the building. They are all very welcoming. friendly and helpful,

A wonderful hotel.

A traditional period hotel with charming features, a nice atmosphere and spacious character bedrooms. Good range of food on the menu although would have liked more dairy free options for our daughter. Good complimentary toiletries and the fans in our rooms were a perfect addition in the warm weather. Helpful and friendly staff and a big/free car park. A little noisy where we were at around 730-8am, due to cleaning/food trollies.

Staff were very good and attentive got stuck in the elevator with my son for a few minutes but was easily resolved and reported straight away. Room wast accessible with the pram very well but only a few steps so not a major issue
