Perfect stay during graduation weekend!

We loved our stay!!! The home is beautiful and they thought of everything. We loved sitting on the covered porch by the fireplace. The home is very well kept, nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. We were pleasantly surprised by all the attention to detail and added amenities to make our stay perfect. We were in town attending our daughter’s graduation and it was nice to be out of the crowds in Boone and near the restaurants of Blowing Rock.

Wonderful!!

What a wonderful home and place near Blowing Rock! So many nice extra touches and did not feel like a rental home at all - smores bar with all the treats, coffee bar, blankets for the outside by the fire, nice big hot tub,wood for fire, etc. Bedrooms were great and everything clean and new in the home. The community is beautiful with lake and walking trails by the creek - we enjoyed walking around each even though February and chilly - so cannot wait to go back in spring or summer when warmer. Short drive to go to/from Blowing rock and parkway and even Boone. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Making Memories

We loved this house and the location which was easy to get to Blowing Rock for dining and shopping! It was very cozy, and loved both the indoor & outdoor fireplaces! The living space was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and dining and the added coffee and s’more bar was enjoyed by all. Each bedroom and private bath was great for us and our adult children and the added soaps and toiletries were such a nice bonus! Many thanks to Melanie for keeping us informed of everything we needed to know about the house which made our stay that much more relaxing and enjoyable! We loved every minute and made amazing memories!

Very Happy!

We were 4 older friends, ages 67-82, who enjoyed the home, the neighborhood and the proximity to wonderful hiking. The home was beautiful, well supplied and the owners go above and beyond to make the stay perfect. The beds are amazingly comfortable! We enjoyed dinners together, sitting around the fireplace, and star gazing at night. We will all have good memories of our stay.

Fabulous house!

Talk about a weekend retreat! Great house, with all the extras. From the coffee bar to the s'mores station, to the wonderful outdoor fireplace. Bedrooms were large, bathrooms were very nice and the kitchen was amazing! Short drive to Blowing Rock and surrounding areas. We will definitely be back!

Amazing stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains

I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay near Blowing Rock and/or the Blue Ridge Parkway. The property was a great place to spend the long weekend and had everything we could have needed. Would definitely like to stay here again!

Restful retreat

Such an amazing home and location. Our best Vrbo experience yet. We traveled with our three and five year old for a week of exploring Blowing Rock & Boone. This was a great home for a small family or for several couples. Each room has its own bathroom. The outdoor fireplace was by far our favorite place to relax after a day of adventure. In addition, our kids loved the s’mores bar. All the little details were so thoughtful in this home making it a restful retreat. Everything was absolutely perfect! We will be back!
