It has a large fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining room for the perfect family gathering! The themed bedrooms and western decor add uniqueness to the rustic charm of the mountains. Saddle up!

The Space:
Western Sky sits at the top of the mountain ridge providing excellent views and experiences for those that visit. The owners said it best “We love how the clouds nestle in the valleys on both sides…dancing around, pushing gently up the mountainside. It’s absolutely mesmerizing.” They are so excited to offer this property and hope you will enjoy it as much as them.

It is a very easy drive via all paved roads winding up the mountain until you come directly to the cabin. It has ample parking for four vehicles, an EV charger and a covered patio and circular driveway to ease your mind and settle in to your mountain escape!

Entrance to the cabin is at the front door directly under the covered patio. As you enter, you will immediately see the beautiful view, the cabins charming features and cozy inviting atmosphere.

To your right will be the fully equipped kitchen, with island, new granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and ample cabinet space.

The dining room will be to your left with table seating for eight and access to the deck. The owners have also supplied a high chair for your convenience.

The living room has high vaulted ceilings, large glass windows that provide natural light, a couch, two large chairs, a gas fireplace, and smart TV. Access to the large deck is directly off the living room.

The main level deck has a gas grill, patio seating, dining table, and provides amazing views as you enjoy a cup of coffee or favorite beverage. The deck also overlooks the large fire pit and yard so you can keep an eye on the kids as they explore! Another great feature is the gates on the deck so your fur baby is safe.

The “fishing” theme bedroom is on the main floor and features a queen bed and also has a pack and play. The bathroom is just outside the hall with a tub shower combo, electronic bidet toilet, and full size washer and dryer. North Georgia is the trout fishing capital of Georgia. There are multiple places to test your skills at fly fishing or other recreational fishing. There are also great kayak launching points that you can use to fish as well.

The stairs to the upper level are just off the living room. You will first come to the game room loft. It has a card table, multiple board games and puzzles, a desk and couch to lose yourself in as you take in the beautiful views through the large glass windows. The kids will love the teepee and it also offers toys for the younger ones as well. There is a gate at the top of the stairs for safety.

The “Prairie” room is on the upper level. It has a wagon wheel king bed, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, dual vanity and electronic bidet toilet. It also features a private deck, with a gas fireplace, and two gliders for your peaceful escape! The perfect place for your morning coffee!

The lower level is accessible just off the kitchen. As you exit the stairs you will enter into the Wild West where you can cozy up with a beverage and try your luck at billiards or shuffleboard. Keep an eye out for the Blue Ridge mountain gang but don’t worry, they are harmless. Kick back on the futon or chair, light up the gas fireplace (no roughing it in these parts), and catch up on your favorite show on the smart TV. The futon will sleep two and all linens/pillows are provided.

Mosey on out to the lower level porch where you can dismount and enjoy a nice refreshing soak in the hot tub while talking in the view! There is also a large connect four game to entertain the kids while you relax.

A large fire pit is also available just off the lower patio. A great place to roast marshmallows, tell some ghost stories or plan your next adventure! You can request firewood for purchase during the reservation process.

The last of the three bedrooms, themed Native American, is just down the hall. This private escape is a great place to lay your head after a long fun day! There is also a full size bathroom just down the hall from the bedroom.

Guest Access:
Access is via keyless entry. A check-in code will be provided 1 day prior to arrival. Checkout code will be provided the day before with instructions.

The entire cabin is available to the guest with the exception of the owners closet

The Neighborhood:
Western Sky is located 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. The home is easily accessible via all paved roads. Four wheel drive is not necessary to access.

The driveway is level and there is enough parking space for four vehicles. The home does have a portico that two vehicles will fit under.

The neighborhood consists of multiple cabins and we kindly request to please respect private property signs.

Other properties are in the neighborhood. We ask that you please respect the owner's privacy and comply with private property signs.

Pets:
Dogs only - All dogs must be kept on a leash when outside. Poop bags and dog bowls are provided for your furry family members. The number of dogs is limited to two and each must be under 50 lbs. The owners respectfully request you crate your dog while away and to keep them off the beds and furniture.

Trash and Litter:
Trash pickup service is provided on day of departure. If the trash cans are full upon arrival, please contact the property management office. All trash must be bagged and placed into the trash cans provided and lids securely attached. Our nature friends love to make a mess when this is not done and the trash companies will not pick up loose trash. Also if you exceed the capacity of the trash cans before pickup it is your responsibility to remove and take to the disposal locations at:

Quiet time:
Please keep your noise to a minimum between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. both inside and outside. This includes hot tubs, fire pits, and porches. Sound travels easily in the mountains and can disturb unseen neighbors.
