Kleines, aber sehr liebevoll eingerichtete FerienhĂ€uschen. Lage ist schön ruhig. Kein StraßenlĂ€rm ist zu hören. Das HĂ€uschen befindet sich in einem Ferienpark.

We had a great time at Boat of Garten. It's a good base for hiking. However, the photos of the cottage are somewhat misleading. The chalet is located in a holiday park, albeit on the edge (fortunately!). The room with the double bed has ample space, but the other room is very small, and the beds are narrower than usual. It was simply too small for my two teenagers. Otherwise, the cottage is neat and clean. I did miss proper pots and pans, though. The ones I did have were either too small or damaged. That made cooking for a family a challenge.

Ideal location

We enjoyed our trip and loved the accommodation. Our daughter had great fun out on the decking and we enjoyed the sunshine late into the evening. Perfect location for exploring the surrounding area and great communication with the host providing detailed directions to locate the property. Will defo look to book again!

Not as described - Complaint to VRBO made

Lodge had basket of blankets in living room - some of which were dirty and paint on decking was a mess and would benefit from TLC. Son also found an old used toothbrush. Listing stated wifi but this was very weak and unusable 0.97mb down / 1.65mb upload. Needed this in order to book activities for our stay and as a single parent, having no signal or wifi was very worrying. Explained to host that this was issue (had to travel to Aviemore for phone signal!) and offered a refund but had to stay 1 night as this was at 8pm on a Friday in July in a very popular area so no other accom available. Sadly, charged by host for VRBO and cleaning fee. Would not have stayed there if we had known about the wifi. The host stated the issue had been going on for 7 - 10 days and we wish they had contacted us so we could book elsewhere. They stated that the wifi was free and therefore not really part of the listing which makes no sense. Complaint has been lodged and currently under review with VRBO

Spring Break

Spring break. Freezing outside but lovely and warm and comfortable inside. Would have sat outside if had been warmer but the outlook was just lovely across the decking from inside. Nice lrivate outlook. Great place for exploring the area

Very nice!

The caravan is very clean and decorated nicely. It backs up to a large field where you can enjoy nature. The park is well kept and clean as well. I highly recommend Andersons resturant within walking distance.

really lovely stay

We had a great holiday. The accomodation was perfect for what we needed.. spacious, cosy and we just loved having the amazing landscape to enjoy out the window! Fiona was really communicative and helpful. Would recommend!

Lovely accommodation

Lovely accommodation on a quiet site. We loved seeing the heather through the trees from the balcony every day. Well equipped but one suggestion would be a vacuum cleaner - even a small handheld one would be useful. Bedding was fresh and clean and the beds were comfortable. We met Fiona briefly, and she was friendly and approachable. There is Wi-Fi as well as streaming services to watch, including Disney+ and Netflix, which the kids loved. Overall, a lovely place to stay. Thank you.

Lovely, warm and cosy

I would wholly recommend this cabin for anyone to stay in. I used to travel to the Cairngorms as a child with my family to ski and experience the wonderful countryside. I have very fond memories. I wanted to take my children there to experience the same thing. I know they will have very fond memories too, from their stay at Birchwood lodge :) Thanks, Angus and family.
