Overall pleasant

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: no internet unless in business
When I went to Bogota at stayed at the hotel it was pleasant. I wouldnt recommend it for someone who is going to enjoy themsevles it would be more for people who are in business or at least it felt like thats who they aknowledged a bit more. It was just me and my cousin we liked the room but it just wasnt as how they showed the room on the website.

Great value for money

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
A great hotel for the money, centrally located with fabulous staff. I was here on business and unfortunately the air conditioning unit leaked onto my laptop destroying it - which can happen anywhere. The Hotel were apologetic and onto it straight away. Maintenance were with me while I photographed the area of incident and the Hotel sent the photos and claim immediately to their insurance company without question. I was moved to another room and within a couple of weeks had the full insurance amount for a new computer in my bank. A very satisfied customer.

Not again!

Beautiful hotel. Only problem sliding windows do not close properly - very noisy. I changed room once but, noise was worse. Dont stay here!

Do NOT stay at this hotel!

I stayed at Hotel Estelar La Fontana in Bogota for a week. The hotel does not operate like a five star at all. Here are the issues I had: 1. The business center had an old printer with no ink. Nobody was able to solve this. 2. My relatives called the hotel and the receptionist said I was not staying there 3. My husband left me a message and it was never in my room voicemail service. I called the front desk and they were not able to explain what happened. 4. My bed sheets were not changed in four days until I personally requested clean sheets 5. Hotel does not have currency exchange service. Also, if you pay with US dollars they charge you more (you end up losing money because they do a conversion below the exchange rate). 7. Sliding doors (windows) do not have a lock. I stayed on a first floor room. I left my room to get breakfast and when I came back the sliding doors were wide open. The cleaning lady was not there. Nobody was able to tell me why the sliding doors were open. I did not feel safe. 6. Staff seems very young and inexperience. If you ask for help they keep looking at the computer screen trying to look busy. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend you stay at this hotel.
