We made a reservation for a king bed room. Turns out that they only have 2 rooms in the whole hotel that has a king bed. Apparently they were both “missed” during hotel cleaning. When I asked how long until they were cleaned, I was told “hours” due to the housekeeping being at dinner. We were checking in at 8:30pm. What hotel doesn’t have a room cleaned by that time, and let’s housekeepers go to dinner for hours? When I asked about what could be done to remedy the issue, I was told that “I should be grateful I at least have a place to stay.” The staff was extremely rude and degrading.

I'm sorry to hear about the unpleasant experience you had with the hotel during your reservation. It's disappointing to arrive at a hotel with a confirmed reservation for a king bed room, only to find out that they don't have the rooms available and that the housekeeping had missed cleaning the available ones.The staff's response to your inquiry was unprofessional and unsatisfactory. As a guest, you have the right to expect courteous and respectful treatment from the hotel staff, and their attitude towards you was inappropriate. I will address this directly with her. I hope in the future you will be willing to give us another opportunity!

Very old and not very clean hotel. Very noisy and way too expensive. No elevator and my room was on the third floor so I had to carry luggage up three flights of stairs.

The lady working the morning shift was Great, THE EVENING LADY DURING CHECK IN AT 645 pm said my room wasn’t ready. I replied to her at informed her I was in contact with the morning lady 3 times today to assure my room was going to available. So she runs up and checks says it available, it just didn’t get marked clean. (Family suite ). Upon going into the room smoke detector was sitting on the counter no battery. Took it down to the front. Said they would have it fixed by time I got back from my concert. 4am. The smoke alarm dead battery beep every 10 mins was not a cool wakening. Upon the most disgusting furniture I’ve ever seen. Stains rips. I have picture for proof. I can’t imagine what a regular room looks like.

Thank you for reviewing your stay, yes, at check in I did have to run up to the room and make sure that it was ready for a guest to check in as I explained that to you while you were at the desk. Though at the time you seemed more understanding once I explained that the system hadn't updated that room as clean. The fire alarm had new batteries placed in it and was put right in back into the room very promptly. So sorry that the detector was beeping so early, we have replaced the whole smoke detector today so that there are no further instances. Please know in the future, at any hotel, if there is an issue with the room; let the staff know while you are there so we can accommodate by switching you rooms because I would have gladly done so if known. Have a good day and I hope you both enjoyed your concert.
