- NOTE: Your safety matters. This home features 2 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 is located at the lakeside entry door and camera 2 is located at the roadside entry door. Both cameras face the doors but do not see into the interior of the home. The cameras will record video and sound in 15-second intervals when activated by motion

Thanksgiving / fishing trip with the family.

We enjoyed the stay at the lake. The house was clean, and the fishing was phenomenal. The owner was very helpful with our check-in, and responded quickly to any other questions we had. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.

Wonderful retreat

This house was more than just a home away from home. It was a wonderful place to relax and recharge. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. The lake was beautiful and it was an added bonus to have access to the paddle boards and kayak. It was easy to get to, in a very quiet neighborhood.

We loved our stay here. We are locals and rent lake houses quite often and this has been one of our favorite places so far. The house is well-equipped and the views are stunning. The location is very convenient to the boat ramp and the dock is perfect. Thank you for hosting us!

Mom and Daughter Getaway

I selected this lovely property as a getaway to enjoy with my daughter who’s attending college nearby. She needed some home cooking from the well appointed chef’s kitchen, naps in the hammock, brilliant sunsets, viewings of ducks/woodpeckers/bald eagle, and a tranquil setting to recharge. The home did not disappoint, and we plan to be back!

Husband 53rd birthday getaway

Took my husband on a fishing trip for his birthday celebration. A total of eight family members went. We enjoyed our stay at “The Lake house”. The house is direct access to the lake. We are planning to return during the warmer months.

Beautiful lake house

Three families (from Idaho and Myrtle Beach) visited for the weekend to attend a family wedding. The house was perfect for our group. There was more than enough space and very comfortable accommodations. The children absolutely loved the swing and hammock in the yard and spent hours outside playing. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals to eat on the beautiful back porch. Everything about our stay was exceptional; we will absolutely be coming back!

The back porch and the front of the house were filthy. No one wanted to sit on the back porch there was mold in the windows, spider webs all over the place inside and out. This was a beautiful property, and I had a hard time understanding the way it has been neglected.

Great spot to get away

My family and I were looking for an affordable way to enjoy SC and this cabin was perfect! Clean and spacious for the 10 of us, the owners did all the little things from a welcome basket to access to the paddle boards and grill. We could spread out and all gather at various times and took multiple trips into Charleston during our stay. The property management company assigned us a contact and she was super great. Had a small hassle with a smoke detector malfunctioning and Kim was on top of it. We loved Sunset Joy!

Wonderful family vacation

We had a fantastic time staying at this beautiful lake house. The house is very roomy and has lots of different areas for people to spread out and not feel cramped. The house was very clean and had everything that we could possibly need. The kitchen was well equipped and we all felt right at home. We all especially enjoyed playing the foosball game in the large loft and also all of the water toys which included 2 paddle boards. The host was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this vacation home and can't wait to stay there again.

The house was perfect. Very large, but cozy as well. Clean and the lake views were stunning. We will stay againâŁïž This was all of our first trip to Charleston...and as excited as we were to visit...we all agreed to sleep in and hang out the 3rd day. It was a home away from home for sure🙂

Awesome getaway

Better than expected rental! Great big place for a larger family with space to sprawl out and relax. There is plenty of room to relax outdoors but the water tends to be choppy, at least when we were there. Also, our son got engaged of your dock so it was extra special!
